Having purchased copper mesh and/or copper wool in the past, I can quite confidently tell you that the quality of this s copper mesh is amazingly high.Many copper mesh products are thin and loose (to save on the production costs) but this mesh is sturdy, thick, and we'll put together.At £31.70 per 30m/100' (May 2019) it's not bargain basement prices, but represents value for money when you factor in the quality.5 stars!

Adequate for the purpose of filling in rodent holes.

I rebuilt my raised veg bed this year and pinned a strip of this all the way round the outside, simply using drawing pins to fix it to wooden gravel boards. The paving around the bed is covered in slime trails where the slugs and snails have been feasting on windfall apples but the lettuces in the bed remain untouched. This is a first for me, they are normally gone long before I get to harvest them, if they even get beyond the seed leaf stage, and despite the hot, dry summer, much else around my garden has been eaten so I think the only reason the raised bed was unaffected was the mesh. I figured this way of working wold be better than trying to build 'fences' around individual plants and it does appear to have worked. A problem might come when/if I add compost to the bed as my compost heap is full of slugs and presumably their eggs which I am likely to put inside the my protective copper wall and completely defeat the object...

100 feet actually doesn’t go very far. I’ll have to wait and listen to find out if it works.

Use it to stop snails and slugs eating my strawberry. Does seem to have worked very well.Attached it to some planks of wood. To surround my strawberry patch

Works great and great value for the length. I had enough to go all the way round our detached bungalow. Caught one mouse in a trap under floor boards I think was trapped in? But no more since.😁👍🏻
