My cat is a Feline Simease mix and she sheds like crazy. I use the brush whenever she just sheds all over the place. Usually, she just sheds on things that her fur sticks on . I usually use the brush four times. it gets a lot out each time. I recommend this brush highly. It does awesome work! When you clean it you could take apart the handle from the brush part. cleans out easily if you use a wet paper towel.My cat usually walks while I’m brushing her but the brush part is really pointed and close together so it doesn’t slip off her fur. You could grip onto the handle easily so it doesn’t slip out of your hand.My cat’s fur is thick, so sometimes you have to press hard. I’m suprised it doesn’t hurt her.It’s also cheaper than most brushs. I’m very satisfied of the product. Very good work getting fur out.

I mainly use this brush for getting burs out of my cat's fur (he's indoor/outdoor), but it's also amazing for reducing shedding in the spring. The teeth on the comb are close together so it picks up a lot of debris/loose hair. It's not my cat's favorite brush because of how hard and stiff the metal teeth are, but it works really well for keeping him clean.

Does a good job with de-shedding overall. Cheaper than some similar alternatives. I miss the 'eject' button present on some other grooming tools. It seems durable.

We love this brush, I tried it at my friend's house with her kitty and it got so much fur out, and then I instantly bought one for my kitty. It does an amazing job of brushing out the undercoat and keps the fur contained so I don't end up with stray tufts of fur everywhere. And my cat seems to enjoy the way the brush feels.

It seems to pull my dogs hair and he hates it

The media could not be loaded.  My dog sheds a lot. When I used my previous brushes, he disliked them very much since it was uncomfortable. Also, it only got a little loose fur out. Furthermore, the fur kept slipping off of the brush and I would drop the brush often that would scare him so then he would  run away. It would be very hard to get him back.I purchased this brush and it helped a lot. My dog loved it, and it enabled me to brush him for a longer period of time. In addition, now there is not that much loose fur floating around the house or on the floor.The fur that I brushed off stays on the brush now, not slipping off. Also the grip is excellent. The brush won’t slip out of my hand anymore. All in all, it is a great value, all for an amazing price!

This is an interesting cross between a brush, a comb, and a stripping comb......but mostly the latter. It's easy to use, and if your cat has a full undercoat, this will strip it out by the handfuls! Great in the spring when you want to get rid of the winter coat. My cats stand in line when they see this brush come out of the drawer (even the cat with NO undercoat likes it). I don't understand how it doesn't strip the entire coat, but it's great!

I would not buy it if you have a husky with a lot of hair. It is intended for the hairs that remain on top of the coat as oppose to deshedding your dog.
