There is just so much to love about these lights. Easy to install (magnet backing is genius), motion sensors work incredibly well, terrific light pattern to light several stairs at once, light color is perfect, and the effect is so cool when walking up/down stairs. Make sure to test light placement prior to install or you'll get excess overlap.Consider buying two sets if you have a larger staircase. Also, these are similarly extremely useful to attach to metal surfaces as magnetic by default.My only criticism is one of the magnets popped out upon arrival. Nothing some super glue and patience to dry didn't resolve.

We live in an old house with a switchback staircase. There was no electricity run for lighting and I've been looking for a solution for years. I was skeptical of these lights at first, but we've been using them for a week now and they work great. I keep moving them around to see where to permanently place them.They're very sensitive to movement, so much that our cat sets them off throughout the night. All in all we really like them. Would recommend.

Haven't had them for very long so can't speak to the battery life, however they require 4 AAA batteries and not 3 AAA like it says in the description. It also a bit more sensitive than I'd like it to be when it comes to turning on the light. I put it in my hallway that never gets direct sunlight but when it's overcast outside it's enough to trigger the lights to turn on with motion. Picture attached to show what I meanWith that being said the light is a nice hue that doesn't hurt my eyes and is quite bright. The adhesive they give you to stick it to the wall works great and I like that they don't stick out from the wall very far.

Absolutely perfect! Our stairs can be dangerous at night going up and down in the dark. These lights are not only perfect to light up the dark stairs but give off a beautiful glow. The sensors work great and each light comes with a magnetic strip to remove the light, so you can easily replace the batteries when needed.I’m already ordering more for under our bathroom cabinets.

I purchased these lights to place on a wooden circular staircase within my home. I've been very please with the soft light they generate which aids in visibility at night going up and down my stairs. In the past, I had to turn on overhead lights, which disturbed my family. These lights provide an economical solution to my past visibility issues.

This is one of the BEST purchases I've made for my home. I would suggest NOT attaching them to the surface to allow for them to be moved around as needs change (if you can). I just lean mine up against the baseboard--so easy and versatile that way. They take 4 AAA batteries and the light remains on for 30 seconds after the subject is no longer within range.

Motion sensor on all my lights are faulty. None of them turn on when walking by. One of the lights randomly comes on when no one is even on the stairway. Hoping to get a refund.

Of the one tested, it does not sense motion but light. If you need a light that is on from dusk to dawn then these will work for you.
