igourmet Cypress Grove Midnight Moon - Pound Cut (15.5 ounce)

I fell in love with this cheese many years ago when I first tasted it. At the time it was expensive but nowhere near what it costs today. At the time it was around $15.00 a pound now it is double in price, is it because it has become so popular? Its taste is complex reminiscent of fresh parmesan, but the texture is not as hard and more creamy. It is truly delicious!The delivered cheese was dry, oily and the rind super tough. All factors indicating that the product was WAAAYYY past it’s expiration date, and had been stored in too warm an environment. Will NEVER, EVER purchase from this vendor.

This is my favorite cheese and I eat it almost daily until I ran out and couldn’t find in the store. Took a risk and ordered on Amazon. What a mistake. The outside of the cheese was a wet crumbly brownish yellow and the cheese crumbled when touched. I couldn’t even cut it. I contacted the seller but doubtful I’ll get a refund. This is such a delicious cheese, nutty, smooth with a few crystals here and there. Great with anything. My favorite snack!! Buy direct from the cheese company.

A mild, maybe slightly nutty taste. It's a lot drier that brie cheeses, and slightly drier than goudas, Monterey Jack, mozzarella. It's softer than hard parmesan. It's great in salads, and on some sandwiches, all as long as the dressings don't overpower this cheese's subtle taste. My favorite, is eating it plain as a snack or part of a charcuterie or such. Packed with a cold pack. Glad I can get it online. Not usually at my local grocers except for one more esoteric one, 50 miles away.

Cheese was warm and dry ice completely melted - went thru 8 hubs before reaching me, would never order again. I requested a refund but it is not eligible. No one has contacted me regarding this.

The cheese was delivered warm the ice packs were melted,we are able to eat it but it was not very good. I ordered this item before and it was great,not sure if I will order it again.
