Compact
This is an amazing mini tripod when paired up with small cameras. I use it with my Fuji xe4 + 27 or 18 fa lenses and it works really well and it's stable, as long as I use it with small lenses

Fantastic item
Bought this for all the times I have tried to get a steady shot on the ground (where my tripod just doesn't go low enough). This conveniently screws into the camera and can be folded flat - the legs can go to different angles so that you can get the camera to where you want it.Slight pain is that you would need to take off any existing tripod plates to mount this.Really handy thing to have in your camera bag though.

Always ready to steady your camera
I've been tying this out on a few different cameras (compact, MFT and FT) and have found that it is a very useful gadget to have with you, especially when just wandering around in "snapshot mode" and not carrying a tripod. You can still rest your camera in a stable position on a table or on top of a wall for a shake-free night shot or some unobtrusive street photography. Or just to take a selfie without the strained arm look. Within the obvious limits of its size you have a reasonable range of angle up/down and can set it down on an uneven surface as the three feet move independently and each are held as placed by a stiff spring. The range of movement for the mounting screw in the three slots allows you to find the best placement to suit your camera and situation e.g. to avoid blocking the battery compartment or to better balance a zoomed-out lens. When folded up it only adds 10mm to the height of the camera and fits comfortably into my existing camera bag. It hasn't been getting in the way of using the camera in normal hand-held operations (one time I'd used a coin to loosen and re-position the support to better fit the situation then found it stuck out a bit too much at the back for hand-held, but it was easily re-loosened, and slid back along the groove). If you do find it awkward to keep in place all the time then it can just be removed/reattached with a small coin and dropped into a bag or pocket until needed. As with all equipment, use it sensibly - I am not going to expect it to support a 200mm telephoto! This support does work well with a compact, especially when using a converter lens, but it can be a bit bulky on them: Manfrotto do a smaller version that is a better fit for smaller cameras.

Miniature marvel from Manfrotto
Needed a robust small tripod for low level shots and as a handy tripod for impromptu shots ... This was perfect. Very sturdy and can be kept on the camera folded down and you hardly notice it’s there. Top quality Manfrotto build too.

Doesn't really work with Sony ZV-1 II
If you are looking to get this for the Sony ZV-1 Mark II, it doesn't really work as the tripod attachment is not in the middle of the camera. Hence, the tripod is not able to stand stably and would tilt to one side.

Works exactly as described
I have tried many compact / travel tripods and they all have some compromise. This is the tripod reduced to its absolute minimum, the compromise is height, but for travel it works really well. I have used it both with an X100 and an A7R and it has worked really well. For compact travel zooms it enables the low iso long focal length shots, that are otherwise hit or miss. If like me you engineer out every excess gram from your travel kit - this is the solution.

Great Idea but…
Great idea for a useful micro tripod. But! With no way of adjusting the tension of the springs holding the three legs, anything heavier than a basic point-and-shoot soon causes collapse! No use so returned for refund. Sorry

Great gadget to keep on your camera
I keep this on my Sony A6000 all the time. It's such a brilliant little stabiliser
