This is exactly as described and pictured by the seller. It works great! The light helps me so much! It's stable enough for what it is. You put it on the book, not the book on it...how stable does it really need to be? It is very easy to unfold and fold up. You can set it at different heights and it stays at the height you put it at. It sits where you put it and is stable, it doesn't fold down on you while you're reading, it makes the words much larger, and is a great design! I get a lot of use out of this and I'm very grateful for it. I have bad eyes and many books have extremely small print. Especially when you get into older Scripture books. So yes, this is well worth the money, it's stable, it works great, the light is a huge benefit, and it looks nice. You can't go wrong with this magnifying reader. I highly recommend it! 💯

The magnifier works great. There are different lighting styles that help provide different views. Everything is plastic and not exceptionally sturdy. The stand is adjustable to angle, but not to height. The fresnel lens provides good magnification. However, it's not great for fine detail, as the lines can interfere. But it's fine if there is some additional accommodation for positioning (for comfort), and an alternative smooth magnifier close by for more detailed observations.

This is the perfect size and fits my books and magazines. The pages are now very visible and the light functions as stated. It is very easy to use and so bright and a clear magnification it takes all of the stress off my eyes. Great quality.

I like the magnifier a lot. However, I have to agree with some other reviews that the power button is not well placed. It is far too easy to accidentally turn it on. I’m running thru batteries way too fast. They need to redesign the on/off feature. That said, I’ve managed to use it even without the light when the batteries get low. But I do prefer to have the reading light on. Still glad I bought it.

I normally do not leave reviews. However... this thing just works. I have amblyopia and am very farsighted. Reading has always come with headaches and nausea. I honestly don't know how I made it through college. I've tried all levels of reading glasses, multifocal contact lenses, accessibility features on smart devices... none really worked. But this little screen on a stand works. It just works. And I am so happy. I can't wait to start getting through the stack of books I have been holding onto for the day I found something that worked.The lighs are bright and lovely. The screen is clear. A little blurring around the edges but that's to be expected. Satisfying ratcheting joints. I hope this thing stands up to the daily use I'm about to put it through.

Love it! Super clear, better than I ever thought. Makes reading the newspaper so much more enjoyable because my eyes aren't straining. The three different lighting modes is great, so convenient. And the storage case is perfect. And love that it is rechargeable and I don't need to keep buying batteries. I'm so happy with my purchase!
