I bought these as I didn’t want to have to drill holes or stretch net wire across hooks potentially stressed them and them falling off, so this ticked all the boxes to avoid all these issues. I changed the sticky pads on these as I had some smaller identical ones but that’s just personal preference and nothing wrong with the ones that came with the bars, the ones that came with the bars also included a screw-in set, so all bases covered really. The thickness of the bar and extend ability are both spot on, and the strength is holding a 2x length of netting easily with absolutely no buckling at all. Dead easy to use, if using on extension stick the hook pads up then follow with the bar, if not using the extension, attach the hook pads to the bar and then position, easy peasy

Easy to install - but make sure you thoroughly clean and de-grease the area where the brackets are to be positioned, and ensure that it is dry. The recommendation from the manufacturer is to allow the brackets 24 hours for the adhesive to fully adhere - this may seem to be inconvenient, but I recommend this instruction is followed - I didn’t, the net curtains fell down, and I had to re-fit the brackets - this time with a 24 hour delay, as recommended - no problems second time around!! I have only given 4 stars for sturdiness, as over longer lengths, the extending rods do tend to dip or sag - not by much, but it can be noticeable if you are a bit fussy, like me! All in all, quick and easy to fit, easy to thread through the hems of the net curtains I used, and gives an excellent result!

The rods arrived badly bent and the narrower rods couldn't slide into the wider rods because they were so bent. I managed to straighten them enough so that I could get one set to work. The hooks have stayed stuck to the wall, it's only a very narrow, small window, I don't know that they could hold up a longer pole with a heavier net curtain! But there are two sets of pins to hold up the poles, stick on and screw in pins if you have a wooden frame. Very easy to put together and install, make sure you clean the area well where you are going to put the hooks, press well for a while, then leave for a couple of days before hanging nets. Great idea for smaller windows.
