Didn’t received it at first but I reached out to Amazon and they sent out another one. I bought it for my mom’s water exercise class. The cap is snug and covers the ears and it fits my mom’s very long hair just fine! It also comes with earplugs and a nose pincher to keep water out. Mom is very happy with it.

I bought this about a month ago and REALLY gave it a shot before I gave a review because I was like you -- Trying to find a swim cap that will hold my beautiful hair while also keeping it as dry as possible. Whomever said it keeps it completely dry is lieing -- the crown will stay dry. The sides and the back of your neck will get wet... but NOTHING like if you were swimming without one on. I look like a smurf with it on and it covers my ears perfectly. Sometimes i get no water, sometimes I get a bunch -- depends on the day. BUT it fits my hair and my hair is down my waist and it's THICK. Buy it BUT experiment. Might not be what you're looking for if you have thicker hair. I found that doing a dutch braid from the top of my hair down the back and then bobby pinning the hair to the head works best. Good luck!

This is a great swim cap for long haired women. It fits a bit tightly, not quite like the picture, but it also depends on how much hair you're storing under the silicone. But all in all a good investment.

It does penetrates water inside

I've been using this for a while and every time I get my entire head wet. The cap gets full of water..when swimming laps..I have to constantly stop and empty the water out, it gets heavy.

I was very pleased with the product. It worked great with my long thick hair. Was very easy to put on. I put my hair in a ponytail and then a bun and it just slipped on perfectly and covered my ears so I wouldn't get water in them. The nose pieced holds on and I like the earplugs because they actually have an indent for easy removal some other brands usually just have plain round ends. It has a storage bag that's reusable. My only downfall was that when it was sent to me it wasn't sent in another bag and they put this label on the storage bag when I removed the label it then left the sticky film on the reusable bag. But then again I wasn't buying it for the bag. I was buying it for the cap which works perfectly.)

I loved this. We bought a robot pool cleaner and tried to open the pool with it. Couldn't find it after 15 minutes. It was somewhere in the green pool. Both me and my daughter didn't want to go in because of our long hair. Worrying what might end up living inside of it haha My daughter has the thickest hair in the world. I have to put her hair in two separate pony tails and then together just for it to stay up. Each pony tail is the average head of hair. So we tried this. No regular swim cap would hold all that hair. But this one did. And it went in easy. No pain for her. Her scalp is sensitive so if her hair pulls she isn't happy. But we easily got all her hair into here with no effort. And the ear protection wss good too for this situation.

Recommended to me by a friend as regular swim hats are useless for afro hair. Kept hair dry from the swimming pool water. This swim hat actually stayed on my head and did not threatened to slide off like the regular swimming hats. Covered my whole head. Nice thickness so gives the impression that it will not tear easily. Bought two. Definitely worth giving it a go. So far I am not disappointed.

So i bought this in cap because i swim a lot and tend to get a lot if ear infections when at public pools. It is bigger than normal caps and covers ears well. Happy with it. Just wish it came in better colors that are more vivid.

Water leaks so not useful. Wouldn't recommend it
