Bought this for an adult who was retiring. Giving him the big truck he always wanted. It's fun because it lights up and when you open the front doors there is a siren that goes off. Can also pull back and let it drive itself.

I like the notes at this site, the truck DOES require batteries to make the lights and noise when you open the truck door. It comes with batteries inside, BUT cannot find replacements! The car can move without batteries, however.

Really impressed by this thing. It says it's die-cast metal, but there's still a lot of plastic. I had to use a magnet to see what's metal and what's not. The plastic parts are solid enough that it's hard to tell. But honestly, I don't know ow long it will hold up to my three-year-old nephew. He'll love it, but I doubt it will survive a good fall or a drop (or a throw! LOL) I guess we'll see.The first things that I noticed when I got it out of the box were the tires. They feel like rubber! They have an off-road like tread that even makes them "hum" a little on the right surface! The attention to detail on the design is really nice, too.For the reviewers that says it's smaller than they expected, here's a tip. It's 1:32 scale - the box says 1:28 but the listing says 1:32. (1:28 is bigger than 1:32 BTW) That means 1" = 2'-8". The truck is 7 inches long, which would equate to an 18'-8" long truck, so it's just about right as advertised.It's difficult to find a well-made toy, but this looks like a winner to me. My wife asked why I didn't order one for me. She didn't have to ask twice! Ordered!

My grandson is constantly playing with this truck inside and outside. It's well made with the moving parts for hours on end, which he's now had for months. Great Buy for your little man and mine!

This is great quality, so I understand the price point, but it’s much smaller than I anticipated. That’s totally my fault for misreading the dimensions, though. It’s very detailed and will be a great gift for my truck-loving nephew!
