Double bill of Disney films. In 'George of the Jungle' (1997), when a baby boy is left in the African jungle, he grows up in the company of animals to become George (Brendan Fraser), a handsome but clumsy vine-swinger. When George meets beautiful career woman Ursula (Leslie Mann), he is so smitten with her that he ends up leaving his jungle home and travelling to San Francisco with her, where the adventures really begin. In 'George of the Jungle 2' (2003), George (Chris Showerman) and Ursula (Julie Benz) have now had a son, and the family lead a happy life together in the jungle. But George's buddy Ape (voice of John Cleese) has built up a huge Las Vegas gambling debt, and George and Ursula realise they must return to the USA to help him out. However, soon after arriving on American soil, Ursula runs into her former fiance Lyle Van de Groot (Thomas Haden Church) and the old trouble starts up all over again.

Love it
Loved this film when i was a child so decided to buy it for my daughters and they were chanting "George, George, George of jungle, watch out for that tree" lol, safe to say they love it too.

George sure can bungle
Brendan Fraser has a peculiar mixture of handsomeness and goofiness.i like the innocent devotion and attraction he portrayed for one woman; Ursula. i would recommend it to anyone who enjoys simple, happy films and not the dark (sinister), violent and language challenged films of today.

Brillaint bit of adult and child comedy
We had George of the jungle on vhs and my daughter absolutely cracked up watching it so wanted to get it on dvd since the vcr had broken and even better found there was a sequel! Both are entertaining my Daughter loved the 2nd just as much, though for me i had difficulty relating to the new cast in the 2nd i just wanted Brendan again for the excellent natural expressions. All in all can't fault both, enjoyable with laughter and for the price you can't go wrong :)

Why 4:3 aspect ratio??
A good set,fun movies picked up at a decent price. However, the ORIGINAL movie starring Brenden Fraser is in a cropped 4:3 aspect ratio..In the modern age of TV screens and DVD/bluray honestly, who has a 4:3 ratio TV anymore?? And made all the more frustrating by the fact that the lesser known George of the Jungle 2 IS in a widescreen format! Get your act together Disney!
