I loved this book. Very quick and easy to read. Excellent for "new" Christians learning to pray and "older" Christians who need to go back to the basics! Reminded me of how essential prayer was to the Christian faith and gives practical tips on how to prioritise prayer your life. As a Christian, it is all too easy sometimes to take God for granted when it suits you - especially when things are going "right" in your life. This book reminds you of the reality of keeping you in a relationship with God ALL the time - not just when you think you need Him...

Teaching on the different aspects of prayer, this book is the best I have read. It is much more than teaching, though, sharing so many personal examples, it is a manual on how to, accompanied by the power of encouragement to respond to God's love and call to service. With God's help, I want to live and pray by the Holy Spirit as described by the author. Thank you Bill.

I am only on chapter 10 and already it has effected my prayer life. I feel I meet with God in a more honest and refreshing way. The tips are practical and the stories encouraging and motivating. A must for any Christian who wants to develop there prayer life

I choose this rating bcos I found the book quite informative & very encouraging. I really enjoyed reading this book & felt it challenges u to get ur act together & mantain regular interaction with ur heavenly father. I have already began referring it to ppl & will cont'd to do so.

I love it when authors use personal experiences to emphasis points - makes it so much more real! Really good book which I will need to read again. There's so many practical point in there e.g. ACTS prayer - really good! Definitely would recommend!

If you are a committed Christian and want to improve your prayer life buy this book - it is brilliant.Bill Hybels is a great teacher and we can learn so much from him.

Makes you think about prayer and why/how you do it. already I feel so much more confident in formulating and saying a prayer in the knowledge that it is a good prayer.
