[Product Features] [Upgrade Your Productivity ] Looking to make the switch to the latest generation of PCIe interface? The UD85 is the perfect introduction to the power of PCIe 4.0. With support for NVMe 1.4 and Host Memory Buffer (HMB) technology, you'll get uninterrupted productivity via higher performance and lower latency for seamless execution across applications. [Speed Up Your Efficiency ] The UD85 delivers a fast and smooth experience with read speeds up to 3,600MB/s and write speeds up to 2,800MB/s. It achieves improved sequential read/write and random read/write performance with support for SLC Caching. [Do More With 2TB For Less ] The UD85 is all about value: it's available in large storage capacities up to 2TB with an affordable price tag. Get all the space you need for applications, documents, photos, and videos without breaking the bank. [A Flexible Upgrade ] The UD85 makes it easy to upgrade from PCIe Gen 3 to Gen 4. It's also backwards-compatible with Gen 3 for greater flexibility across systems. And, its M.2 2280 size easily integrates into designs with M.2 connectors, making it the perfect choice for thin laptops and small form factor PCs. [Lower Latency With 3D NAND ] With 3D NAND flash technology, the UD85 incorporates multiple layers of vertically-stacked memory cells to overcome the density limitations of its single-layered 2D counterpart and achieve greater capacities. A reduced distance between memory cells also results in lower latency and higher performance. [Comprehensive Data Protection And Accuracy ] The UD85 supports low density parity check (LDPC) coding to ensure accuracy of data transmission and reliability of data access, while RAID protects data in the case of a drive failure. It's also equipped with built-in E2E data protection and an automatic error correction code (ECC) function for enhanced data transfer integrity. [Stay S.M.A.R.T. With SP Toolbox ] The SP Toolbox provides a free, user-friendly way to obtain disk information, change settings at any time, and erase files securely. View drive information, S.M.A.R.T. status, wear-out count, and block information with ease. Or, perform a diagnostic scan or performance test to make sure the drive is healthy and running efficiently. 5-year limited warranty. [Product Specifications] Dimensions: 3.15 x 0.87 x 0.14 inch Weight: 0.28 oz/ 0.018 lb Form Factor: M.2 2280 Interface: PCIe Gen4 x 4 MTBF: 1,500,000 hours Operating temperature: 0ºC to 70 ºC Shock Resistance Test: 1500G/0.5ms Certification: CE, FCC, UKCA, BSMI, Green dot, WEEE, RoHS, KCC System Requirement: Computer with M.2 slots supporting PCIe interface and one of the following operating systems: Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 Review: Best M.2 for the money - I have many silicon power drives at this point and will continue to use them. Samsung is overpriced crap. If you are going to buy one of those Samsung drives, you might as well go for broke and get the best drives out there (SK Hynix) but being real, you don't need that, and I can almost guarantee you don't have a real use case for it (or could probably even notice a difference). Silicon Power M.2's are super fast and cheap. They work well, have the storage capacity it promises on the box, fits properly and works perfect. Review: Reliable, Fast, and Great Value - Silicon Power Delivers Again! - I recently added the Silicon Power 2TB UD85 NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 SSD to my setup, and it’s been nothing short of fantastic. Here's why: Brand Reliability: I know Silicon Power isn’t the most well-known brand out there, but in my experience, they’ve been incredibly reliable. I’ve bought several SSDs from them over the years, and not a single one has let me down. This 2TB SSD is no exception—it’s living up to all my expectations. Performance: The Gen 4 speeds are exactly what I was looking for. With read/write speeds of up to 3,600/2,800 MB/s, everything from booting up my system to loading games and applications is super fast. It’s a huge upgrade from my previous drive, and I can really feel the difference in everyday use. Storage Space: The jump to 2TB has been a game-changer for me. Whether you’re a gamer like me or just someone who uses a lot of storage for work or media, this drive offers plenty of space. I no longer have to worry about juggling files or uninstalling games to make room for new ones. It’s nice to have that kind of freedom without breaking the bank. Value for Money: The price for this SSD is very reasonable, especially considering the performance and reliability it offers. I really hope the price-to-quality ratio stays the same because it’s one of the best deals out there right now. It’s rare to find something that ticks all the boxes without any compromises, but this SSD does just that. Final Thoughts: If you’re on the fence about trying out Silicon Power, I’d say go for it. This 2TB UD85 NVMe SSD has been a solid performer in every aspect. The speeds are impressive, the storage is ample, and the reliability is something I’ve come to trust over the years. No complaints here—I highly recommend it!

This is the 4th Silicon Power M.2 SSD I've purchased
Always fast. Always reliable. Always a low price. I keep finding these SP storage drives in my builds because the filters always put them on top if you do a price per Gb of storage. They are just as fast as the competition. Only thing I don't like is they do not come with a heatsink but no matter. I've been using one as my main OS drive for over 2 years and computer still boots up in 12 seconds.

its a good nvme for the price.
runs on the hot side - which i'm told is normal - so i bought an Active Cooler that plugs into a fan header, prior to that i had put on an inactive fin block. I forget what the temp was at the time with the inactive cooler, but with the active cooler on its 50 celsius. one thing I thought was weird - the coolers came with thermal strips, and when switching from the inactive to the active cooler, peeling off the tape took the sticker off the nvme. I just stuck it back on. i didn't force it off or anything, just pulled off the sticky heat and the sticker peeled up. thats why i dropped a star.

Great part for a great price.
I built my own gamer about six months ago but the standard 1tb M.2 ssd was rather poor in performance, it was the only thing slowing me down. I just installed this new 2TB ssd and it works noticeably better, plus a lot more storage space. On a side note, I've been buying Silicon Power's SSD's for years and rarely had issues.

Bought for PS5 Use
Bought this for my secondary drive in my ps5 and it works great. Great speeds and zero issues installing it. Basically using it as my primary at this time to load games onto first. Very pleased...

You won’t be breaking any nvme speed tests but it’s definitely better than any sata ssd. 500gb isn’t to much but for the price and performance it’s a pretty good deal.

I use this in a retro console Raspberry Pi 5 project and while the RPi5 will never be able to max out the performance of this drive being only PCIe3 while the drive is PCIe4, it feels very reliable and was great value for money as an outright 1TB NVMe drive.

I bought it for upgrading the storage of my laptop. I cloned my windows from HDD to this NVMe drive and there was a huge speed gain in terms of boot time and file browsing. It's compatible with any device having M.2 slot. It's performance has been great so far. As compared to other brands, I found the pricing to be very competitive, and hence it is a value-for-money deal.
