REAL PET-G (Polyethylene terephthalate) is a strong, water repelling material. The printed objects are known for their astonishing glaze. Material wise we already know PET from the transparent soda bottles. PET- G is gaining a lot of attention and popularity within the 3D printing community because it offers the easy printing properties of PLA and the durability of with PET-G does not require a heated bed. With PET-G you can print just as quickly as PLA. PET-G has all the user friendly properties as PLA and has the better and stronger properties of ABS. PET-G doesn't cause any strange odour in comparison to printing temperature of PETG lies between 230C and 250C. For small objects no heated bed is required. For larger objects, a heated bed is ideal and should be set up to 60C. The recommended settings are 245C, the higher the temperature the higher the glaze the object gets. All REAL PETG has a magnificent deep colouring. REAL filament applies to all ROHS and REACH certificates. These certificates can be found and downloaded on the manufacturers web page. There is also an MSDS available.

and am extremely satisfied with Real Filament's PLA and PETG
I started 3d printing with a printer I inherited as it was dropped off at a local school and wasn't working. The teacher I work with as a volunteer said if I could get it working, I could have it (they had multiple printers already in the classroom). Real Filament was one of the first brands of filaments I bought (started with PLA). I've tried a few brands of PLA and PETG now, and am extremely satisfied with Real Filament's PLA and PETG. I've got no negative comments about them.

Great PETG
I've been a fan of Real Filaments PETGs for a while, and this one lives up to the rest. Prints well, nice and strong, has a nice 'garden green' look to it.

Good filament, terrible spool
This petg prints fine at 240/70. Good bed adhesion and minimal stringing. The spool itself let's it down, it's cheap cardboard and I wouldn't recommend using it unless your spool holder is wide and on bearings

Real filament is a good quality filament and I've used a few rolls from them with no issues BUT be warned this is not Opaque Green its very similar to the Transparent Green which I have had from them hence the 3 stars.
