Great product!
I received my Starter kit 3 days ago. I read the directions that came with it, watched the video that you can access form a link that’s available on the printed directions and started my first batch. Initially, I thought that the amount was kind of skimpy, but I just did as directed. I noticed by the second “feeding” that surprisingly, the grains had already grown in size. And by the third day I actually had a batch of Kefir that was pretty much good to use! It was that simple! I was also again surprised by how much they had grown since I initially received them! I did warm up my milk to 75-77 degrees and could have probably let the third batch ferment a little longer, but I was too excited. If you want to try making your own kefir vs buying that stuff they sell in stores, I highly recommend this!

They disappeared!
After following the instructions and using the finest non-metal mesh strainer I could get on Amazon, all my Kefir grains simply disappeared. Not that there would have been many to start with, probably less than half a teaspoon when they arrived. For 3 weeks I was 100% sure that I am doing something wrong, and that with enough patience they would start growing. I mean, the milk thickened and even started to get some sour, tangy flavor, but nothing compared to the Kefir I buy in the store. So after I couldn't find any grains in my strainer anymore I bought some dehydrated grains, and they are not even completely "activated" yet and are already thickening 2 cups of milk in less than 24 hours, and they are growing like nuts.Maybe having live Kefir grains shipped when it's 110 degrees outside is not a good idea. And shipping just a tiny amount is probably not making it better. Anyway won't buy live grains online anymore.

Amazing grains
Received milk kefir grains quickly. They were shipped in milk and very healthy. I make a pint of kefir every day. It's very tasty. I highly recommend this product.

This is a great product!
I ordered this and got to work right away. It colonized a cup of room temp whole milk in 24 hours, then another one. I tossed those as suggested, then made a pint with room temp grass-fed whole milk. In about 18 hours the milk had basically turned into a yogurt consistency! I am using the cheese cloth bag, as all you have to do is pull it out and wash the bag with the grains inside with a little fresh milk, squeeze out the excess and you are ready for a new batch. It couldn't be easier! The grains are also already multiplying like crazy! Probably twice what was shipped at this point. So I am planning a pint a day for my wife and I.

Tiny amount of grains for the price but good customer service
update #2: Now that I know more what I am looking at here, I don't think these are truly kefir grains. I think it might be just curds from already cultured kefir because none of them are solid like kefir grains should be. Kefir curds will culture your milk but it won't be true kefir because some of the bacteria and yeast that are contained within the grains will be missing.update: The seller contacted me and offered a refund, and apologized about the error on the product weight. In the mean time the grains do seem to be viable at this point. Very good customer service.Old review: There was less than a tablespoon of them - for $20? The product listing says $1.11 per ounce, so I should have gotten almost 20 ounces of kefir grains and this is not more than 1/2 ounce. Besides that, not packaged well, the plastic container leaked some of the contents. Grains have been in the milk for almost 24 hours and nothing is happening.

Not what I was expecting.
UPDATED 5/13/2023. Customer service reached out to me in an attempt to clarify any issues I may have. Great customer service, they assured me the grains were grown in the US as I love locally sourced. I’m guessing it was growing pains or just a fluke, anyway I’m giving my grains a few more days to see where they are. Thanks for the quick follow up, it is greatly appreciated.I ordered this product to start my own kefir, the container came in without any directions, just a scanning code no information at all in the package it contained what looked like 3-5 grains(just a tiny amount). so I put it in milk and sat it out over night I used a pint jar. Separated after 24 hours, hoping I did not loose any grains. Next I make a quart. Direction came in this morning…I Received my shipment last Thursday. According to the direction you are suppose to toss out the 1st few batches….would of been nice to know I was buying organic milk…Kind of an expensive learning curve, and I’m sure I could have gotten grains free from friends just did not want to bother any one…kind of disappointed $20 for grains plus 5.99 milk. I’m on my 3rd batch of kefir. So far kind of disappointed… Hoping the grains will take off.
