My World Board Book: A Companion to Goodnight Moon―A Classic Board Book for Children's Bedtime Stories

Bought this for my son when he was 18 months old and even now at 2 years old, he still absolutely LOVES the book. My son loves "Goodnight Moon" and the world of this little bunny. I hesitated for a long time before ordering this book because of the so-so reviews. But guess what? He absolutely LOVES this book too! There are a lot of little details here and there that little kids love to discover and learn about. And while it's true that this book does not have the soothing rhyme and rhythm of the "Goodnight Moon" it does offer a glimpse of the world of this sweet bunny family from a long time ago. And some of the concepts are a bit old-fashioned, old-timey but I think that's what lends to its charm. Don't be put off by the negative reviews, this book is charming like "Goodnight Moon" and is nice to have. Also recommend "Recommend Runaway Bunny" by the same author for even more from this charming bunny family. My son loves all the books in this series! Recommended!

My little one (16 months old) adores 'Goodnight Moon' before bed, so this book came as the perfect companion to it, due to the association with well-known characters, objects, places, etc. Wonderful rhymes and illustrations. A great present for all toddlers who love "reading" 😉

An ideal companion to goodnight moon. I personally don't think it's as good as goodnight moon but my little girl seems to enjoy it, which is all that matters

A wise old man once said to me "One day thou shalt read books of nonsense to an ungrateful screaming recipient whilst you ponder whether you are slowly losing your mind".It was quite clear this person was a lunatic but years later I have to wonder if he was, infact, just a normal father who had raised multiple children."My World" is similar to "Goodnight Moon" except the writers took a stronger version of whatever they were sampling before authoring the first book, and my son doesn't like it as much. It's also physically smaller than the GM book and inside is very random. Some pages are devoid of words, leaving you to create some equally crazy sentences of your own to sustain the flow of the book. Speaking of flow, this one just doesn't flow, unlike GM.If your child likes Goodnight Moon you could give this one a go, but you run the risk that if they like it and you have to read it every night (as I have to with GM), you'll be on the fast track to prescription medication if you're ever on a work call and one of the lines from this book blurts out of your mouth from an unconsciously-controlled side-thought.As The Verve so aptly put it: "Now the drugs don't work, they just make you worse, but I know I'll read Goodnight Moon again"

I know some adults are disappointed with this book when comparing it to the classic that is Goodnight Moon but I found that my kids liked it just as much. The words may not be as hypnotic as its precursor but it's nice to read before Goodnight Moon as it stretches out the wind down routine before bed.

My son likes "Good night moon" and one day he asked me, what the little rabbits life is like. He likes "My world", as much as "Good night moon".

I wanted to pass on the tradition in our family of Margaret Wise Brown books to my Italian grandchildren!!! This is just one more marvellous piece to that puzzle and the kids adore it! Share, share for big & small people, it's a gem and a joy!

Bought it for my daughter to accompany the runaway bunny book. The book was bought used and wasn’t in the most quality of shape but acceptable. It’s a cute book.

This is a new favorite to my little one, he wants me to read it every night, TWICE! Nice quality

Libro para leer a niños pequeños o simplemente para que ellos lo “lean” solos. Mis hijos aún no saben leer y este libro lleno de imágenes sencillas lo ven y lo ven “leyéndoselo” entre ellos, es un deleite.

Great book

Está muy bien para calmar a los niños antes de dormir e ir introduciendo alguna lectura en inglés.Goodnight moon es insuperable para ir a dormir, ya que en My World el cuento acaba de día, por lo que el niño se desvela un poco, mientras que Goodnight Moon acaba en noche cerrada y a los niños los deja casi fritos.
