Q: I am using this headset for ms teams on my work laptop. my first use, the mic quite working in a teams meeting and later, on a call. why???

The same thing happened with mine; I even uninstalled and re-installef it. Still doing the same thing. I know this doesn't answer your question but wanted you to know that you aren't the only one.

No, it does not have a chip. I initially liked the product but then it started hurting my ears so I haven’t used it anymore.

Q: Does it mute when you put the mic is up? Or do you have to actually mute it with the button?
