I am trying to move to healthier cosmetics and it's really hard. I found these polishes listed on several different websites promoting less chemicals in personal products. I purchased the top/base coat, the blue Walking the Walk, pink Get It Girl and reddish pink I am the Spark. Firstly, amazing coverage! You only need one coat unlike the big name brands that you absolutely need two or three for the color to really pop. The color with base and top coat applied lasts really well. I just went 14 days before wanting to change the color and only 3 of my nails were just starting to chip. I have a crazy dog that demands lots of walking/playing, wash dishes, gardening - basically I really put polish through its paces. My only complaint is about the blue. in the picture, it looks like a gorgeous, deep, almost midnight blue, but in reality it's closer to a blue grey. Not at all what I was hoping for. The picture needs updating as the other colors were true to their picture, but that blue one is pretty drab.

I got the free in me color, and it’s perfect, I did a thin 1st coat and let it dry, then went back with a thick 2nd coat and it covered completely. It dried in about 20 minutes with me just sitting letting them dry. I got this one due to being pregnant and wanting a safer polish option and I can’t complain!

The color is a bit more purple than it looks in the picture. I thought it was more blue periwinkle, but it’s very pretty. I just already have a shade like this one but now I have extra lol. Dried pretty quick and lasted quite a while without a top coat. Texture is pretty good too, might need a couple coats but that’s normal so for a “healthier” nail polish, this stuff is pretty good!

After using it, the nails are splitted, unfortunately.

This works great even without the toxic chemicals in it. No reason for that.

I expected is have to compromise the wear when choosing this more natural formula, but it wears better and longer IMO! I also love that the clear coat is base and top coat in one.

I’ve had this nail polish on my toes for three weeks now and it still looks fresh.

This product is amazing, strong base and top coat , wears well and vegan. Strongly recommend

Color in the pictures is accurate. As with all Essie, the vegan / plant based polish is top quality.

I did everything correctly. I started by applying an Essie strong start vegan base coat, nail strengthening, with biotin and waited til it dried. Then I applied this nail polish which the burgundy colour is absolutely gorgeous. I had high hopes for it. However, it was incredibly difficult to apply. The brush is flimsy and does not apply well. Then, the formula itself is crazy. Either you apply too much and it goes everywhere around the nail, going onto your fingers OR you do not put enough and by the time you apply a bit more, it dries and makes bubbles. I waited 25 minutes until it dried. Lastly I applied an Essie Nail Care, Salon-Quality Longwear Stay Longer Top Coat and let it dry for an hour. Not even 12 hours later, my nails are already chipping. I'm not doing anything extreme with my hands today. I work at a desk. I can see the nail polish lifting from the edge of my nail. I do not recommend this product at all. Complete waste of money.

easy to apply; efficient to make polish last

The quality of the nail polish is great, it goes on smooth, it's nice and opaque, and it dries quickly. BUT! The colour isn't quite what I expected. I thought this would be a nice pale powder blue, but it's really more of a light grey. Still a nice colour just not the one I had hoped for.
