Beautiful and fantastic bed!
Looks classy and expensive! Was easy to assemble and it is sturdy. This bed looks better than the one we purchased at Macy's and it was less expensive. We get lots of compliments on the color and style of the headboard. Honestly, I recommend it.

High Quality, Excellent Design
Over the last decade, I've bought lots of furniture online and reviews are everything so, shopper to online shopper, here's what I'd like to know before buying the Zinus Misty-- The bed is high quality and well designed. No one is going to believe what I paid for this bed. The fabric is thick and looks like a nice silk with just a little sheen. The tufting is the real deal with actual folds of fabric in the actual right spots. Most button tufting on lower end beds is more button dimpling-- a single sheet of fabric, button pushed through with some wrinkles around the indent. Real tufting requires more fabric, you start from the middle and fold and sew buttons as you go. It's more labor intensive, higher end and it shows. This is the real deal and it makes my decorator heart happy. The bed arrives in a big, single box that has 2 layers of cardboard and a plastic bag to protect the fabric. Yes, everything is zipped into the back which is why it's so heavy. Take out the slats first and it gets more manageable. If you empty the headboard and cart everything piece by piece, it's no problem for one person to take the headboard into the room. Once you get that heavy box into the house, it's a one person job. I cut the tape on the box and slide the headboard out standing upright with the plastic still on, then carefully lowered it face down onto a couple of throw blankets, then cut just the back of the plastic off to reach the zipper and unload the innerds. The bed goes together easily as long as you remember to loosen the bolts and don't tighten until the sides are in place. It took an hour with the included hex thingie and that included extra time because I did *not* loosen those bolts enough and played ring around the rosie several times to get it right. It's probably a 20-30 minute job if you remember the bit about those bolts. The slats on velcro are a marvel and took about 60 seconds to roll out. There's a really cool little hex ratchet tool included but I never used it. The legs are plastic but they're heavy duty and they don't show. If I were really picky, I'd just run up to a big box store and buy some wooden legs. If that's the only shortcut they took to get this bed to this price point, then thank you Zinus. The pictures show those lovely folded fabric button tufts and the beige color in lamplight against a wall painted in Sherwin Williams Wool Skein. The second pictures shows the bed with the mattress. For reference, that mattress is 8" and those bedside tables are 22". Measurements in the description are accurate and if you have a thick mattress or need a higher headboard, this may not be your best option. Personally, I love the lower profile and it really makes the room feel open. This is probably my favorite online furniture purchase ever. Thank you Zinus for providing a lovely, affordable upholstered bed :)

Nice Headboard and Frame for the $$$
I have to admit my expectations were tempered on what I was actually going to get, despite the positive reviews here on Amazon. They were justified. The frame was cleverly contained in a zippered pouch on the back of the headboard (now a double-top-secret storage location), and despite the fact that the assembly instructions were simply visual (no writing), they were clear and easy to follow. The manufacturer provides everything you need in the box to assemble this in 20 minutes or so. An "allen" wrench is provided for final tightening, but the little ratchet worked much better than I thought it would for getting to the tighter spaces on a few of the bolts that hold the frame in place. An extra bolt of every type is added in case you lose or strip one out. The mattress slats are held in place with velcro strips that marry up with velcro strips on the inside of the side rails, which I though was simpler than drilling screws into the frame itself. The headboard itself isn't super tall - nor is the frame - and we paired it with a Zinus 12" memory foam mattress. The combined frame & mattress sits roughly 23 inches off of the ground, so compared to a traditional rail/box spring/mattress combo, it's lower ... but doable. Bottom line, it's sturdy, attractive, easy to assemble and recommended.

Better than expected
I have never bought a bed off the internet before. This bed was very smartly packaged so we felt that the pieces were well taken care of and given how heavy it all was, arrived without any damage. The instructions were easy to understand and the pieces were fairly easy to put together. Being that it is a king size, I was a little worried about it being sturdy enough for the weight of a king mattress plus two adults and often two dogs :) But it is very sturdy! The headboard fabric is like canvas/linen and plush enough that we can lean up against it to read. It's a very nice looking bed!. It does not squeak! I wish there was a tad more clearance off the floor as my dog likes to go underneath the bed but that's not a fault of the bed. This bed is so well made, we anticipate it will last a long time! I would definitely buy this brand again.

Easy to assemble and good looking
This is my third zinus bed frame and again I’m not disappointed. I also received a ironmatik iron board with my shipment, I don’t know if that was an added bonus or really how that got on my shipment but anyways back to the bed frame it’s awesome, it’s sturdy and very nice looking. My son jumps on it and you can’t even hear a noise. Some other things happen on the bed as well and again no noise or squeaking. Just to add it’s super easy to assemble. I’m almost 5 months pregnant and I assembled it in about 45 minutes with the unwanted but irresistible help from my 4 year old. Only thing I would say is the legs are a hard plastic so if you plan to move the bed frame take off the mattress and use two people, I tried to move my other zinus bed frame about 3 feet to the left by myself and it bent the plastic legs. Not a big deal though I bent it back and that’s probdbly on me for being lazy lol. But really I don’t have anything bad to say about this bedframe. Excellent quality for the price! I would definitely recommend buying this. I don’t know if it matters but I am about 150 lbs currently, husband is 210 and ocassionally our 40 lb toddler will sleep with us and the supports that come with the bed are very sturdy as well.

This bed frame exceeded my expectations. It was simple to put together by myself and the little ratchet tool was a big bonus. The box was pretty beat up when it arrived (earlier than estimated!) but everything was intact inside. The box is super heavy!! Unless you have a strong friend to help you transport it, I suggest opening the box where it is, unzipping the headboard, and carry all the pieces to where it needs to go to lighten it. Our previous bed frame was terribly squeaky and shifty so we put this through stringent testing: shaking it, kids jumping on it, etc. It is solid, doesn’t move at all, and no squeaking! We had planned on replacing our mattress as well, as it was too firm and never softened up after 6 years. After getting rid of the box spring and putting it on the slats made it feel like an entirely new mattress. I didn’t even know the slats could make such a different to the feel of the mattress! Our mattress is technically too tall for the frame, but we are okay with that for now. Anyways, the bed frame looks great, works great. You’re getting a steal of a deal.

1) EAST ASSEMBLY: it was super easy and fast assembly, my husband assembled the bed in 20 - 30 mins without any body's help. 2) METAL BEAM STURDY : loved the base to support the slats/bed - is of metal, not of wood like some others in the market. We previously bought a similar bed from another company with similar price, which had wooden base (the middle support beam) and it was broken! So we had to return. This one has metal middle beam which won over my confidence that the bed would definitely be sturdy 3) BEAUTIFUL: for a small room like ours. It's a perfect look as the headboard is not too hight or low, just perfect. If you like nude colours, this bed headboard is for you 4) BEST FRIEND IN MY CSECTION RECOVERY: our main room bed is a high one and I just had a csection. I'm 5'2" and This bed has the perfect hight for me that I not need a step stool 5) PERFECT SIZE: Our main room "queen bed" is a little bigger in length and both our endy and ikea matressses used on that left some blank space which I had to "cover up" to set up the bed. This bed perfectly fits both the queen matresses we have. Amazing bed, worth every penny. Very happy with the purchase. Hope this review helps!

This bed is so gorgeous in person - very easy to assemble and sturdy! No need to purchase additional tools as the package comes complete with everything you need. You do need 2 people to put it together, and the box it comes in (just 1 box) is very heavy - I could not lift it on my own from the front porch! I have a memory foam mattress so having the wooden slats across the bottom with the air space is ideal for breathing room. The headboard is thick and comfy when you rest your head against it, great for reading in bed. The colour is true to what you see in the picture - a neutral beige, goes well with everything. I am SO happy with this purchase. I only have one point for improvement, and that is the height of the headboard - if it was a couple inches higher would be perfect. With a 13' memory foam mattress, I had 3 rows of buttons exposed, and with pillows and decorations, easy to cover it all up. But that does not take away from the bed itself, more of an aesthetic point.

Packaging was pretty beat up puralator delayed it for an extra week. One giant hole nearly ruined it. But it ended up being ok. It assembled extremely easily and its strudy. The supports are made of metal not wood. The legs are metal inside cheap looking plastic but you get what you pay for.. the headboard color was spot on and for people complaing they only have three rows of buttons its because you have a KING size. Queen size and below get 4 rows of buttons. Overall im very happy with the quality and assembly considering the price i paid. 300 something CDN dollers. My only complaint is the bed is a tad bit short my queen matress hangs of the end about an inch.

This is my second time purchasing a Zinus bedframe. I was very skeptical buying a bedframe online, sight unseen, the first time. But the whole process blew me away - the company goes a little extra mile in presentation and assembly that makes the whole process quick and (actually kind of) enjoyable. For example, all the pieces are zipped into the main headboard, and it's put together in a way that would make it possible for one person to do alone. Doesn't require any power tools. We had the first bedframe with an Endy bed for 4 years before deciding to move it into a guest room and upgrade to a king size. I went straight to Zinus for the king frame, again needing a slatted frame for the Endy mattress. We decided to go with this one because the colour matches better (previously had a grey upholstered frame). Once again, the frame was packaged in the same great way and super easy to put together. I will note, however, that the king size frame is heavy. Like, HEAVY heavy. But once put together, it's super solid, no movement in the joints. Note: I really wanted something that had a higher head board, but a lot of them seemed really short. I can confirm that this one (the king size) has an adequate height head board. I read a lot at night, and it's very comfortable for laying back against. Very happy with the height.
