OK - so would probably have given this 5 stars all round but for a couple of things. Firstly, it came with a number of washers missing (7 in total..!), so not a great start to assembly (!) and it was only a few days before we were due to leave on our trip, so Returning it was not an option - even IF the item was in stock (which it was not). So I sourced my own washers and solved the problem, and to be fair on Amazon Customer Services, they immediately offered me a 30% credit/refund for my inconvenience etc.Secondly, the little 'disc' vents on the lid and in the base are made of the thinnest/flimsiest material (aluminium?), which is not such a problem with the one in the lid, but in as the base heats up and the bolt/spring washer expands (and therefore tightens..!) when you try to adjust the vent using the attach rod it is in danger of snapping off and so holding lower down to avoid that means you risk burning your fingers. Poor design in my view, and needs to be stronger to material.Use it twice and overall was fine. Spring clips to hold the lid on work well. Bought a separate 'chimney starter', which I'd recommend, so can't comment how easy/well the charcoal lights without using one.

Gotta day this product is amazing! I bought it even though it had no ratings because it seemed to have all the features that I was looking for.It’s easy to assemble, really portable and cooks really well. You can even cook on it on a table at home which is great and it cleans really easily with holes that allow heat to circulate. When you out the lid on it cooks surprisingly fast. Ideal for one of those self lighting bags.This is a fabulous product for a great price!
