These variations cause alternative floorboard sealants such as papier-mache, wood filler and silicon to become ineffective and loose and eventually drop out. If you have experienced these problems, DraughtEx is the solution. DraughtEx will mimic the movement pattern of the timber and therefore remain in place. Thus retaining insulation, eliminating cold draughts and improving the comfort and energy efficiency of your home.

Easy to install with the free applicator, DraughtEx requires no adhesives and compliments the overall finish of your floorboards. Its flexible properties allow DraughtEx to be applied to a wide range of gaps which will be completely sealed, and can also be used to seal gaps between floorboards and skirting boards.

DraughtEx comes supplied with a free applicator and comes in 3 sizes: Thin for gaps of 3mm or less, standard for gaps of 3 - 7mm and thick for gaps of 8 - 12mm.

A 12 x 12ft room has approximately 25 floorboards and an average gap area of 3.87 square feet which is similar to a small window being left open.
