This states there is no propylene glycol as a selling point then it's listed as the first ingredient. Which one is it?

I googled in more detail and here is what I found. There are two forms of Propanediol which is listed as the first ingredient of the product. The first form, propylene glycol, is hazardous. The second form, Propanediol (same name), is not. Those two form are different in chemical properties and, hence, have different effects. (See detail below.) I am not sure which one is used in this product. Just wanted to point out that it is possible the product used the second form of Propanediol and may not be hazardous. Other websites say the same thing: *Propanediol exists in two common forms, 1,2-propanediol (propylene glycol) and 1,3-propanediol Safety Measures/Side Effects: Propylene glycol has a number of safety issues associated with it. It is commonly known to be an irritant to the skin and eyes, and cause contact dermatitis and rash in humans. However, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry disputes the level of toxicity and says "propylene glycol rarely causes toxic effects, and then only under very unusual circumstances." This is probably due to the fact that propylene glycol is generally used in low concentrations and very few people being sensitive to it at such concentration. Despite this the FDA has it approved for general use under the number E1520 and can be used in cosmetics according to limitations in concentration (Cosmetics Database). This concentration currently stands at <50% according to the Cosmetics Ingredients Review, although research has shown that the body can be sensitive to the ingredient at levels as low as 2%. The Cosmetics Ingredient Review has shown that propylene glycol inhibits collagen contraction. As of yet there has not been enough research conducted to be able to determine whether propylene glycol is carcinogenic (Safety Assessment of Propylene Glycol). 1,3-propanediol is considered to be of low hazard to bodily health by the Cosmetics Database. The National Library of Medicine classifies this ingredient as a skin and eye irritant and study has shown that inhalation of the compound as an aerosol poses no significant risk (Informa Healthcare).

Does this leave greasy stains on the underarm area of clothing?

I don't know about the clothes but it left my underarms sticky and it didn't dry fast. I wiped it off and threw it away.

Fragrance (parfum)?? Is that natural one? It says no phthalates...

Yes, it does say no phthalates. Does that make it natural? I cannot say. But what I can tell you is that I have used Jason underarm deodorant for years, perhaps ten or more, and it is the only brand I have found which does not cause a rash. My wife, who also has sensitive skin, uses this deodorant and and says she is pleased with it.

So far it's a great choice. The lavender scent is nice and strong, how I like it. After 12h, my armpits are still fresh. I'll have to put it to the gym test after lockdown ends.

Nice and natural

I bought this for my 'tween' daughter, as I didn't want her using harsh chemicals. It is a creamy stick that goes on smoothly. It only has a very delicate fragrance - not a strong smell at all. It is effective on her, but I'm not sure it would be as effective as a normal anti-perspirant, in keeping one fresh-smelling, but for our use at the moment it is fine. She uses it daily and it has lasted a long long time - so good value.

Hated it!

I found this product utterly useless. It left a sticky residue on the underarms which didn't dry like normal stick deodorants, and actually made me sweat more than usual. I absolutely would not recommend - I had to buy another deodorant after 2 days of using it (and I wouldn't usually consider myself as very sweaty)! On the plus side, the lavender scent is nice while it lasts and the stick is bigger than most mainstream brands - though both of these facts are irrelevant since the deodorant doesn't work.

Have used this for years and find it to be great. Last for ages and keeps me fresh for the day. Worth the money and makes me feel so much better that I am not spraying loads of chemicals onto my body! Not really a perfumed smell to it but enough to make you feel fresh and ready for the day.

Glides on easily. Has a mild scent. Works pretty well on average temperature days. However, if you work outdoors in really hot temperatures, you’ll need something a little stronger but everyone is different and may work for you in extremely hot temperatures. Overall, this is my go to deodorant!

I love Jason products for their toxin free ingredients and effective products. I’ve tried other aluminum-free, toxic free deodorants but they havent worked. Jason works! I’ve tried several fragrances but this Lavendar is my favourite … so smooth, relaxing and awesome smell.
