I couldn't get the screw to completely go all the way in, so I left it out. There is a hole in the center for securing that way. It's not going to move unless I pick it up. It comes with 4 pads to place under each leg to prevent scratching and have a soft setting. Very pretty.

Stand is nice and sturdy, doesn't move around at all. Put a large plant in the pot and it looks great. Would purchase again.

Arrived on time and in excellent new condition as stated. One wood screw secures the two pieces together to create the platform. It came with four adhesive backed felt pads to protect agains scratching floors. The legs are adjustable. I turned it upside down because it fit my pot and my style better. It was the perfect height so that my plant did not tower above the chair back of my recliner. Great price and value.

VERY well packaged. NO need of directions, VERY simple to assemble & the screw etc. was taped to the cover VERY sensible!! LOOKS GREAT, Expands & contracts to size, nice & low so (the lightweight) I, could lift the large potted plant & place it on the stand simply & easily. Obviously the supplier cares!! SIMPLE, STURDY & VERY SWEEEEET!!!!!

This is an extremely sturdy stand and I know it's not as tall sided as another one I bought for another plant but there's no comparison that this is much nicer wood and fit together perfectly and is as sturdy as can be! I'm tempted to get another matte white pot for this plant but my mom had this pot since at least the late 50s early 60s and it's a really pretty color. The only reason why I'm keeping the other one is I wanted a style that was a little more MCM with a little bit more wood going up the sides of the pot. Otherwise I would buy another one of these for that one. Actually I still might…From what I read in reading lots of reviews, this is probably the sturdiest one. The screw in the middle actually tightens it down very firmly where it did not at all and the other one that used a hex style tool to tighten it. That one had cheaper wood and was cut so bad I almost had to use a hammer to just slide the two pieces together. If you like this style at all, get THIS stand I wouldn't hesitate to get it again and again!
