There are so many variations of this products and while searching i managed to get one without a power cable. The cable is not one of the common USB cables so the device is useless until i find the appropriate power cable. Ordering one from amazon will cost more than the cost of the device.I connected the device to a portable and a TV decoder. After a while the device would not switch channel from remote. Switching it manually from the button did change channel but after 10 seconds turned the screen to red. I removed the switch but the decoder had latched to red. In some way the switch must have loaded the switch too much. After switching everything off and removing the switch all was OK. But i am afraid to use it again.

I purchased it assuming that it would automatically switch between inputs but it does not. I have two DVD players plugged in but it does not change inputs automatically. I have to use the push button. Disappointing

I really like this HDMI switcher! Adds a few more HDMI inputs to my monitor. Now I can connect my laptop, PS4 and Nintendo Switch and switch easily between them. The included remote is a good addition, I think it would be especially great for a TV setup where you wouldn't want to get up to the TV to switch between inputs. I admit sometimes it is a bit slow to switch between inputs but overall a very good item!

Would have been a 5 but description and review led me to believe it was auto switch, it is not. You have to press a button.

It works but is not so useful. Material are cheap and ports are tight.

i bought this to do a specific job and it worked perfectly connecting my skyQ and my amazon tv box to one port it worked well worth the money

Did not work out of the box, one of the ports has artifacts on screen. I am sending is back.
