Jeff Dunham: Spark Of Insanity [DVD]

Sought this out - need a good laugh in times like these. Was introduced to Jeff Dunham a long time ago and still find the ventriloquist's satire clever if a bit spooky. The puppets say the most outrageous, politically incorrect things, and the master tut-tuts and tells them off. Apart from being master of his craft, though, Dunham manages to look quite shocked by his characters, and maintains his feigned innocent charm - a fine combination. But, with Ahmed a close second, it is Peanut who makes me laugh the most, right down to his lime green tuft of "hair"! Brilliant, Je-fuh-fuh….dot com!

Most of Jeff's humour is based on race or political correctness and his puppets come out with things things that no human being could ever hope to get away with!!**Walter is an old and out-of-touch ill-tempered person full of resentment and stubborn notions who is outspoken in the extreme about all the things he hates.*Achmed the Dead Terrorist is a deceased suicide bomber (now a skeleton), who shouts angry threats at his audience.*Peanuts is a hyperactive purple 'woozle;' a sort of cross between a monkey and an alien.*Jose Jalapeno On a Stick is literally a talking jalapeno pepper who punctuates most of his sentences with the phrase "on a stick."*Bubba J. is a dim-witted beer-drinking redneck.*Melvin the Superhero - A low-rent wannabe superhero.*Sweet Daddy D is Jeff Dunham's 'manager;' an intolerant African-American.

Jeff Dunham is not only a superb ventriloquist but he has one of the funniest acts in entertainment today. His "friends" [I cannot call them dummies]are hilarious and after a few minutes one gives up trying to catch his lips moving and just accept that he is having these very funny conversations with these,well,people. Maybe not everyone will see the funny side of Ahmed the failed terrorist[a skeleton!]but the sequence with Peanut and Jose Jalapeno is absolutely the funniest performance around today. I am by no sense any sort of prude but I find Mr Dunham's lack of foul language to be very refreshing at a time when so many comedians seem to believe that this alone makes them funny. If you would like to forget, for a short while, what the arrogent bankers have done to our world and livelihoods then give yourself a treat and watch Jeff Dunham.

My kids introduced me to Jeff Dunham via face book. Acmed the dead terorist is sooo funny and the saying "I kill you" is a standard saying when things aren't quite going right..Walter is such a grummy old man and yet so likable - every one knows a Walter in there life.Jeff Dunham is so talented at some points when watching you almost think the puppets are alive and you forget he is doing all the work.I defey you not to laugh you socks off when watching and if your having a bad day this is something you should put on your dvd and watch - you worries just melt away...Have recommended to all my friends and family

The reason that I chose this rising is because when I went to ordere it o the 28th of December the said if I used the Amazon one day free delivery it told me it was guaranteed, so why tell you that when it is not, only thing I liked about it was that it saved me money. Even though I've still to receive the products I know for a fact they will be good because I got one of Jeff Dunham's DVD's for my Christmas and it was brilliant .

Great show very funny guy.. i spent the whole two hours laughing, if you ve watched any of his stuff before you know what he does but unlike most comedians the material does change, its not just re mixed up and put back out. its high up on my standup comedy list worth a watch.
