Manufacturer says this fits the 24v kobalt weed eater. It isn't compatible at all. Waste of my time.

I hate weed whacking so hard when it goes good it goes really really good but as soon as it stops, I have to open up the cap straighten out the string. It takes a lot of work.

Easy to use

I bought the Pre wound spools and extra spool caps for my KST 120X-06. They both go on just like the original, but that's about as far as they work. I constantly had to manually pull line out of the head, and noticed the little button that makes the trimmer line come out kept getting stuck and wasn't popping back out. I took the head apart to clean it figuring it was jamming because it was dirty. The head was clean inside, noting to jam the feed mechanism from functioning. I started looking at the line spool and spool cap. Turns out the clips that hold the spool cap in are considerably thicker than the factory ones, and were not allowing the line spool to turn during the feed cycle, hence the button wasn't popping back out. I still had the worn original spool cap and put it back on, and it works like a charm. DO NOT BUY THE REPLACEMENT SPOOL CAPS, they will not allow the automatic line feed function to work.

Quality productExcellent replacement

These spool fit my trimmer and I have used it a couple of times. I noticed as compared to my previous spool which would last me for months, this spool wears out so quickly that I might end up using all 8 spools in just a few months. On an average one 20 ft spool lasts me about 3 months but this spool is more than half used up in less than a month. The string does the job pretty well though.
