Some very helpful saying on this when visiting Italy. Small like the size of a credit card I put the most useful ones to me in the clear part of my purse so I could see through to read when paying or needing to ask something etc

This was great, I bought this for my nephew to take on a surprise trip to Paris, he used this every day, in fact he carried it around all day every, and would use this to talk to people in the street, and in shops. He loved it and it was helpful.

I purchased this for our weekend away in Paris for myself and my 11 year old son to use. It is a really useful size, is strong and won't bend or tear whilst in use or in a wallet or purse. I thought there would just be words on it but it is usefully laid out so that you can create sentences to get you through the day if you're brave enough to try! Wordings include getting around, being polite, ordering drinks and food and getting directions etc. My son is looking forward to trying it out! Will be on hand in my purse for those times of need while away! Would recommend purchases.UPDATE 7/7 - thought I would give an update following our trip and how useful the card was. My son, mother and I all referred to it and within 5 minutes of arriving off the Eurostar, I used it to put a sentence together to buy three train tickets to our destination - and we got what we needed and ended up in the right place! Result! We also used it in restaurants to order drinks etc. I received a free card too for Spain after I gave feedback and looking forward to trying that out too. Lots better than a big phrase book where you don't use half the words or sentences and light and easy to use. Would still recommend. :)

We went to Spain on holiday though about ways of remembering phrases then saw this. Really helpful good size fits in your wallet really good value for money as is filled both sides with translations on very thick plastic so sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about it easy to use as it's spilt up to different things on the sides

Or-ray-eh! That's how the word 'beautiful' would be said phonetically. This is how the card works, although I guess that locals would be stumped if you showed them the card instead of being brave and actually speaking to them! A clever idea, with clear graphics, although it might be even more helpful to have a part 2 included, just to expand the conversation a little .I love the practicality of having it credit card sized & waterproof.

Very handy but I should have checked the product image better - would have been useful to see the phrase written in Greek, too.
