Hilltop Espresso
Size of a small vacuum flask and probably about the same weight so easily portable in a back pack. It will brew espresso from ground coffee or nespresso pods. The battery lasts 3 to 4 espressos using cold water straight from the tap before it gives up-water from a bottle that has reached ambient temperature might give a bit more.Using hot water from a vacuum flask brews a whole lot more, the flask capacity becoming the limiting factor rather than the battery.Even when using cold water, brewing is quick and the hopper and filter are easy to clean out for the next brew. All good and very easy to make “espresso with view”.

Proper espresso anywhere, better than i hoped
The media could not be loaded. This has been one of those crazy purchases that has genuinely improved my life, an expensive outlay but no regrets. It means I have excellent coffee at work and I can take it on day trips, camping, beach trips and hikes. Making espresso on a secluded beach has been a delight. I've suffered no end of jealous and inquisitive colleagues. In terms of functionality it is very versatile. The battery capacity can manage five espressos, using room temperature water and i don't even know how many using preboiled water. It comes with two adapters, one for nespresso pods and one for grounds. I use the pods one all the time. I use it about ten to twelve times a week and I've had it a couple of months, I'm very happy with how it performs. If it uses preboiled water it takes less than a minute to produce an espresso. If using cold water it can vary depending on the water temperature but around five minutes.Thise little gadget produces espresso that rivals proper full sized machines. Espresso is pumped creating thick crema.I find it easy to keep clean. Once used it isn't going to leak out remnants so can be stored and cleaned when back home. All the parts requiring cleaning separate and can be rinsed well. The water reservoir can be dried out easily. The only way I could suggest improving this would be to sell an upgraded cup, a nice titanium espresso beaker would be very cool. One thing I really did appreciate from the manufacturers is good instructions and the inclusion of not one but three logo stickers. I wish more brands did that.

Excellent product.
Excellent product. Wish I'd known about this years ago.The instructions are a little sparse but once you have examined it, it's pretty obvious how it all works. The water lid can be knocked off a bit too easily (be careful if you are carrying it in the side of a rucksack through undergrowth) and I wonder why this can't be made as a screw-on lid. But otherwise it's great. While pondering its excellence over a nice espresso, I was thinking that the manufacturers could consider a branded holder for the accessories and maybe a branded accessory to hold some milk, sugar and a spoon. The speed of brewing is quite slow (eight minutes-ish) but as long as you know that, it's not a problem.Nice to discover something new and so useful.I lost count of the people who passed me while I was drinking my coffee and commented how great it was to have it freshly brewed coffee. I should be on commission. The only product I have ever bought that has made me new friends.

Tiny battery and tiny coffee
Yes this does make a coffee by battery - great. But the “cup” of coffee it delivers is even smaller than an espresso, more of a thimble. Mine only makes one coffee before it needs recharging, it takes hours to recharge and you cannot plug it in to use it - you have to wait for it to charge. It also takes an age to heat the water, this is because unlike some other machines it doesn’t heat the water as it passes through to the cup, it uses an element to heat the tiny water holder, like a mini kettle but 50 times slower. It’s so inefficient unless you want just one tiny thimble of coffee and you can wait ages for it! It’s simpler and lighter to just take a flask, this is a gimmick.

Solid product
Solid product, well made, makes good coffee. It’s a bit slow but given its running of a rechargeable battery it’s great. Delighted with this for camping and hiking

It’s brilliant
Honestly- just brilliant coffee and the ability to switch between grounds and pods is great. Comes out better than my home bean to cup machine.Yea, if boiling water from cold it can only do 2-3 cups, but given its size that pretty amazing, and no big deal to just charge off a battery if you are such a coffee addict. If using warm water- can do lots. Build quality is also great- no hesitation in recommending! Also easy to clean, functions brilliantly, and is quick given the size!

Perfect portable espresso machine.
It can make espresso from ground coffee as well as Nespresso coffe pods due to two separate attachments provided (approx 6g ground coffee per serving) . Compared to Nespresso stationary coffee makers la crema is weaker, thinner but very nice. For purists and double shot lovers there is an option to buy a separate attachment allowing the use of 16g ground coffee. It is however very expensive, nearly £48 and shipment/delivery takes a few weeks. Perfect set up for coffee on the go, I use it at work daily, adding hot water, as using cold water allows only a few on one battery charge. When hot water is used it lasts easily a week making 2-3 coffees a day. Expensive little marvel of technology, worth the price in my opinion. Word of advice, that device requires specifically 5V/3A charger to work properly. Many USB chargers for portable devices are 5V/2A, it is not enough to charge, I nearly returned the item failing to charge before I got the more powerful one. It is not how many watts, it is the output in Ampere units that counts.
