Did the job nicely with a smooth coat. I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to use primer. Best tip is to leave the can in some warm tap water for 5 mins then give it a good shake. Coverage was great and not too glossy at all. Would buy again.

Ave used plenty of primers over the years this one is by far the best!! Coverage is amazing, very little pooling, and dries with a lovely thin matte coating!

No issue in the end. No bulging can, no blocked nozzle, no porous texture, no gloss. Looks exactly as I expected, I painted a few metal parts from a bass - screws, rings from the machinehead (marked, I did not touch the machineheads themselves, those were black), that string adjusting thingy in the middle. It looks a lot less grey in real life, sorry for the picture quality.I am not a fan of the durability on metal, I can very easily scrape it off with my nails after days of drying, even though I have cleaned all the little parts exactly as suggested by the people of the internet. But the stuff I painted black aren't being scratched so hope it will last. It definitely looks good until it comes off.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to for this. The best primer I’ve ever used. Even in the cold weather. It levels beautifully, like an airbrush primer would. But with all the strength of a rattle can primer and none of the fiddling of an airbrush primer. The Coverage is amazing too. One coat is enough.

Best model spray paint out thete use it all the time.

I was a little worried this may not be as good as some brands, I recently started my army and I went for this as the black I was after was sold out, I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked! It coated my army beautifully before I applied the fine details, will buy again!

I was really happy to have received this product really early, well before the estimated time. The seller was also so kind to even email me with help and guide lines on use of the product and extended his help if I had any questions. the effort was very much appreciated! I went outside to use the Army Painter color primer can to prime some modeling objects. I read the instructions on the side of the can, which told me to use a flat headed screwdriver to break the seal and remove the cap. Therefore I went back inside to get the screwdriver and open the cap.There is a clear indication of where to place the screwdriver, but the plastic just gave way and the seal did not break. I tried to pry the seal open with the screwdriver, and it punctured the can!Black paint was sprayed all over the dining table, the floor, and the bathroom, where I ran to attempt to contain the paint spraying out of the can.It took about 2 hrs. to clean up (not able to get it off the table) + a ruined shirt and ruined jeans + 89 SEK that I paid for the product. Also, I had waited 2 weeks for delivery, since the ‘matte black’ was out of stock at the time I ordered it.Pretty crappy experience all-in-all. Just glad my kids weren’t around and no one got paint in the eyes.I suggest that Army Painters change the sealing of the cans, so that using pointy metal tools against the canister will not be necessary in the future.

je les utilises pour faire une sous couche de mes figurines Warhammer. C'est la qualité army painter. La marque est fiable et leur qualité de peinture n'est plus a démontrer. Je recommande le produit sans hésiter!

Lo compré un poco reticente por los comentarios, pero un amigo me comentó que probara esta marca, que es mejor que Vallejo pero con mucho menos Marketing y tenía razón. La imprimación de The Army Painter es mucho más cubriente, precisa, y el resultado final es muchísimo mejor que la de su competencia y encima 5€ más barata. Pienso volver a repetir

Affrontiamo subito l'elefante nella stanza: a confronto del Citadel questo è un valido sostituto, forse un poco più granuloso (mi raccomando agitatela bene!) ma costa meno ed è prodotto in Italia e questo me lo fa preferire.Richiede qualche passaggio di più per lasciare un colore ben uniforme. Niente di tragico!A livello costruttivo la bomboletta sembra meno rifinita quindi maneggiate con cura per evitare di rompere il perno.In generale rimane un ottimo prodotto!

Ich nutze es für diverse Miniaturen und es klappt alles wunderbar. Die Deckkraft ist super.Man sollte aber auf jeden Fall die gut dokumentierten Hinweise auf der Amazon Produktseite befolgen, um z.B. ein verstopfen der Sprühköpfe zu vermeiden (in dem man die Kartusche überkopf "leer" sprüht). Und vor allem lange genug schütteln, sowie nur aus der Bewegung heraus kurze Sprühstoße.Außerdem habe ich den Tip von Squidmar (Youtuber und Miniature-Painter) befolgt und die Dosen jedes mal vor gebrauch in sehr warmen Wasser für 15 Minuten erwärmt, um Tröpfchenbildung zu vermeiden. Da ich es nie im kalten Zustand probiert habe, weiß ich natürlich nicht, ob es wirklich besser geht, aber da ich keine Probleme mit Tröpfchen und der gleichen habe, gehe ich davon aus.
