KUUK Potato Chipper - Fry/Chip Slicer - Also Makes Carrot Batons, Cucumber Crudités

I have difficulty operating it as a lot of pressure is needed to get the handle down. It feels as if the handle is going to snap though it has not so far. There is also a problem when trying to create straight chips, they all come out curved.

All plastic construction, do not think it will last long.Have to make sure the vegetables are straight, otherwise very difficult to push down the handle.Good quality potatoes (Hard) requires excessive pressure to slice, that is why it will not last very long.

Very tough to push a whole potato through, and the chips come through curved. If I cut the potato in half, it is a little easier to handle.Not advisable for old or weak hands, otherwise it does the job.

very good bit hard when using big potatoes so just cut them in half lengthways and works fine

disappointed I could not press the handle down hard enough even my husband had a hard time with it

I ordered this product two months ago. I have been using the thicker blade the whole time, this has worked but did require a fair amount of pressure. I tried to use the thinner blade today and it would not work at all. The amount of pressure required has caused the base to completely snap.I'm now out of the returns period, otherwise I would absolutely be requesting my money back. Flimsy and not really fit for purpose.

Love this little gadget. Makes uniform chips which helps the chips cook evenly in my actifry. Only used the slicer for larger cut chips as it only arrived yesterday, but Im sure the smaller cutter is just as effective. Why have I not had one of these before. Excellent delivery service from the supplier. Very pleased.
