Kuuk 6 in 1 Grater and Mandoline

Looks grate!! Excuse the pun, I have to admit i haven't used it yet as been ill so not been cooking and creating but all looks well made, compact and looking forward to using. hopefully I won't be disappointed

Its to small not stable when using the box and not sharp enough and when doing a lot of shredding its a pain. I got something else that was cheaper and works better

This is a compact, cleverly designed little grater set with mandoline that is ideal for smaller kitchens and for preparing up to 3-4 servings of food at a time.The mandoline ( a sharp blade held horizontally against which food is sliced) is particularly well thought out. The Kuuk mandoline has a finger -shaped safety grip that holds the food firmly against the mandoline board but keeps your fingers clear of the very sharp blade when slicing. The food drops from the slicer into a small collection tray underneath - there's no mess. If preparing a larger quantity of food for 5-6 servings the collection tray will need emptying.The underside of the slicing/grating board has deep notches that hold the tray in place on the collection tray whilst slicing.A firm grip ensures that the mandoline does not move around and there are non-slip pads on the four feet of the trayCare does need to be taken when handling and fitting the mandoline and grater blades and slotting them in to place as they are sharp. There is also a right way to fit them and a wrong way to fit them, including slotting them back into position - make sure you have the blades the right way upThe Kuuk set features a crinkle cut blade at the end of the slicing board. When the board is removed from the collection tray and held vertically, the crinkle cut blade can be used to slice potatoes for crinkle cut chips, cucumbers and carrots.Crinkle cut finger foods such as carrots, cucumber and mango are great for older babies and toddlers learning to feed themselves as the crinkled surface makes the food much easier to grip - making them ideal for those who follow 'baby-led weaning'. This blade is a great way of preparing these weaning foods without going to the expense of buying a crinkle bladed knife, and can obviously be used to produce crinkled potato slices and crinkle carrots and cucumbers for adults too.The Kuuk set also has a broad grater which is useful for grating potatoes for rosti or carrots for coleslaw, whilst a finer grater makes a little bit of cheese go a long way.After use the set can be washed by and dried by hand and is compact enough to easily store in a cupboard or drawer.I received a discount for my mandoline and grater set; this is my honest and unbiased opinion.

.i got this a few weeks ago as i chop dice and cut loads of veg at a time and freeze it, so now that im low i have used it, ITS FANTASIC IT HAS SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME. i was a bit sceptic about using it as a friend said they were useless. but she didnt have this brand but she has now. i dehydrate loads of veg an garlic. garlic took me ages to peel and slice but i did it in no time using this. its brilliant i would thoroughly reco it. just be careful using it and follow instructions as it has very sharp blade.
