Quick summary of my long complaint.Overall low quality and bad design. Loud fan that's pointless and a light that doesn't turn off.It worked for about 4 months at which point I opened it to take a look. The fan is fake... well kinda. It has a real fan that makes a horrible noise all night but I'm all thinking "well wireless charging can get hot at least it has a fan to keep it cool". Well the fan is pointless for it has no way for the air to exist the device. I looked every where for some kind of small gap to allow air to flow out but there is none. For one's China made a cheap product that the plastic seems to fit together perfectly and it's a problem. If there is no air flow there might as well not be a fan right? Just buy one without the fan. It is quieter, and actually stays cooler. Probably because there is not a pointless fan just makeing heat and no cooling.On top of every thing I was just complaining about the little light doesn't even turn off and bugs you all night.

Terrible high-pitched whine from the fan. Might be ok if you can't hear noises within that range or if it won't be near you. My parents can't hear it, but it drives my partner and me nuts.Most charging stands like this seem to isolate the majority of the heat-generating components in the base, so you're probably fine going with a silent, fanless charger. You get what you pay for. There were instructions included but written so poorly they were useless. As this is my first wireless charger, I was unaware that I would also need to purchase a power source as well.It took several tries to find one that worked with the charger. Frustrating. When I placed my Samsung S8 Note on the charger it charged for maybe 10 seconds then quit. As there was no instruction for trouble shooting, I tried in vain to figure out what was wrong. Unsure if the fan works or not. One obvious flaw is that the charger is easily knocked over. This charger is a piece of trash.

I get blazingly fast charge times with this charger, which is a surprise considering it's a qi charger. The upright position is awesome for people who work in front of a desk and need to use their phone - certainly more versatile than qi chargers that have you place your phone down horizontally. The fan is noiseless, and helps to prevent your phone from turning into a lava brick. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a usb c cord, which seems atypical for this type of product. That's pretty much my only complaint. Good charger, overall.

I received and used this charger yesterday and I would give it 5 stars based on how quickly it charged my phone. Why I subtracted stars is because this is supposed to have a fan that has a switch on the bottom. There is no working fan and no switch which is why I chose this fan in the first place. It looks like it should have a fan because it has all of the vents on the back, but all of the reviews say it has a switch on the bottom to turn the fan off and on. Did I receive the wrong charger?

The charger works great without a case. I have a Note 8 with a light weight case on it. does not penetrate the case. When standing up, the phone has to sit perfectly to charge. lay it on it side, and it quickly connects and starts charging. for the price it is a good fast wireless charger. just wish it would work with my case on.

This is a great product with cheap parts. I didn't have it for 2 months before the charging port came loose and now it will no longer charge. At all. It's literally just a phone display. So I gave a star for that.The fan is kind of noisy and if white noise bothers you then this is not the charger for you. That said it kept the phone nice and cool. Being able to toss your phone on a charger at night without dealing with cables is amazing, I wish mine still worked. If you get one that works you'll love it.

I wanted something with nice airflow like I've bought in the past and is pictured. What I got is solid where the phone lays and thus my phone heats up. Which is what I was trying to avoid when I originally was shopping for this.
