I bought this to use on my Polaris RZR 1000 a week before a riding trip to the Hatfield & McCoy trails. Since I'm piecing together an electric wiper setup I just wanted something quick and cheap. And since that's what this kit is. . . out of the box it's performance is only so-so. I knew that going in so here's what I did to try to improve it.First, the arm will accept any blade that uses a standard 5mm bayonet connector. A couple options are the 31-12 (12") or 31-14 (14") which are conventional blades that come with adapters to go from 5mm to 7mm and also to a J-hook style; the later two being a lot more popular so that should open the door for future blades.Since I was worried about down pressure I pulled the spring off, cut 1/16" off, re-bent the end and put it back together.Since I was worried about the wiper arm clamp slipping, I took a pair of Knipex pliers (they have sharp teeth), put it around the stud and squeezed just hard enough to make some indentations. I.E. a very quick, basic, knurled end. I wanted the smooth clamp to have something to bite on.Finally, I used a punch to spread (round over) the pin, which tightened up the pivot joint a bit.All mods took about 15 minutes.I only needed it for one full day of riding and that's when I realized the thousand miles of highway speeds, on the way there, had tweaked the straight blade and only about 4" of the blade was now hitting the windshield. No matter how much I tweaked it I could never get it to wipe a 100% full swath.After I got home I did some measuring and ordered in the Anco blade. I now get a 100% full wipe.So, it now works great for rain, but I'm not convinced it will be tough enough for heavy snow or mud as I'm not sure the clamp is strong enough. I'll update the review if anything changes.

I bought this unit because the previous (same brand) wiper I had lost the specialty round securing nut within two weeks. It vibrates out easily, and they don’t carry these special nuts at Home Depot. So when you install this, be sure to add a little loc-tite to that round spherical nut. Other than that, it’s a decent, high quality product.

I needed this wiper in order to check a box. Where I live this is a requirement to make a golf cart street legal. It serves that purpose well. From a functionality perspective, it does a less than stellar job as a wiper. If you need to rely on this to see you may be in trouble. It installs in minutes on plexiglass golf cart windshield with a 1/2 inch spade bit to drill a clean hole.

works great but no way to stop it from moving around when traveling

I got this for my 2020 Polaris General XP 4 which has the sXs Windshields front glass windshield installed on it, and this is a perfect wiper for it. I tried other wipers, but they were all too long. This one fits perfectly and actually quite adjustable so you can get it to fit just right.
