Really bright, just what we wanted!!
Replacing two spotlights over our pantry sink that were 50w halogen spots. This light is far brighter and is dimmable so we could adjust it to whatever brightness we wanted. The halogens we always had turned all the way up. Thought the price was high until we plugged them in . . . ordered two more for over our stovetop!

Excellent bulb for our kitchen
This bulb puts out a ton of light and dims well. We have it aimed at a particularly dim corner of the kitchen and it really makes a big difference.

Wonderful lamps for artwork
These lamps are color correct for daylight and are perfect to illuminate artwork. Kind of expensive, but long lasting and worth it. Different Watts and beam widths available so the light is right sized and bright enough. Work extremely well on dimmers and don't go off to the red spectrum much.

Bright and incredibly long-lasting
These lights, designed by a company founded by Nobel Prize winner Shuji Nakamura (inventor of blue LEDs!), are as good as their origin suggests. I installed about 16 of them in my house and, so far, they seem to have been worth every penny. The oldest SORAA lights I have were installed about three years ago, and not a single one of them has gone out yet despite everyday use. I'm a fan.

Beautiful light, short lived, and excessively expensive
I've been using these lights for years. Love the quality of the light, however, they don't last all that long. They will slowly lose output so it's not instant, but I would say they only last slightly more than a traditional halogen. Unfortunately, came back to purchase more only to find them in a range of $35/bulb! It's completely unreasonable and while I'll miss the light itself, they have priced themselves out of the market.
