I am teaching my daughter about time and this is just great. Handy with a handle for moving from room to room, it's easy to operate. This is really going to help. Really good item.

Did I buy these because of Jake Knapp's book...? Yes but totally worth it!

I had two of these.The first one died before the return date expired. It just stopped moving no matter which battery you put there. So I replaced it with a slightly newer model.The second one started dying before the return date expired, but I didn't pay attention to sympthoms - it started draining the battery very fast. I had to replace/charge the battery every week. After a couple of months, the clock stopped moving when you set it to 50+ minutes. Eventually, it died the same way as the first one.Return is not available this time, so I opened it and found the cheapest Chinese clock mechanism wrapped in a plastic case. They tried to hide this fact, so internally this clock has one more battery compartment. This Shangbang HD-1688 clock mechanism is worth £0.2 online. And they wrap the cheapest possible thing in a £54 timer. I think it's a scam. Not going to buy any TimeTimer products ever again.

This large timer is really useful for countdowns for my young children but it really is overpriced for what it is and how much it costs to produce. I’ve rated it as I have mostly because of this price but also because the middle control dial keeps randomly popping off and shooting itself across the room. This is really dangerous as I have an 11 month old who mouths everything.

So cheaply constructed not worth the money

This is really useful for helping little kids to understand the concept of time. We set it so they know how long they have until they have to get their shoes on to leave the house or until bedtime etc. It is ridiculously overpriced for what it is though but I couldn’t find similar cheaper!

I have 2 Timer timer devices, one big and one small. Both have problems with the battery section. I had to break the battery cover of the small Time timer to open it because the small screw was too tightly placed and there wasn't any tool in my house hold that would open it. So had to break it to insert the battery. Big Time timer had so tight compartment for batteries that we had several people trying to insert the batteries. Somehow we finally managed to get them in the compartment, but I am pretty sure we won't get them out anymore when they need replacement.Otherwise the product is good and userfriendly. Works as specified. Only problem is that the big one shows that the time has run out already but it takes about one minute more for it to play the alarm.

I use it for home gym. Typically, I can spend hours there and not notice it is after midnight and I need to work tomorrow. This thing keeps me on track. Very visible, simple to use and effective. Planning to buy second one for studying.

I bought this to keep my 5th grader on track with her work while she does school virtually. It's a great size and the handle is nice to carry it from room to room. She easily sets the timer to keep track of reading and time on other activities. You can turn the sound on if your child needs an extra reminder or off if your child is sound-sensitive. She does sometimes move the timer to give herself more time for preferred activities, but that is not the timer's fault :)Update:Timer stopped working after about 1.5 years of use. I’ve had others for work that I bought before this one that are still going strong. Disappointing. I tried changing the battery several times and it just does not reliably run anymore. I’m sure it’s just a defect of this particular one.
