I was hesitant to purchase this vacuum because of my previous experiences (plural) with battery powered hand vacuums. The battery just does not stay charged long enough and they are not powerful enough to work on carpet or rugs. All of the half dozen hand vacuums we purchased over the last 40 years or so sat in their chargers gathering dust until thrown out during a subsequent spring cleanup.If it is only used on hard surfaced floors you are only looking at a "glorified, heavy and complicated broom". However, there are several good things about this item.1. it is light, even with the attachments, easy to clean hard surfaced vacuum stairs2. it is powerful enough to remove dust, sand-like dirt and cat hair through the attachments3. it holds a charge long enough to finish the jobWe bought this hand vacuum just after we removed the carpet from our upstairs and stairway to expose the 150 year old pine floors. Vacuuming these floors and stairs kicks up much less dust than sweeping. So, why write a review more than a year after purchase? two reasons; 1-we have had time to use it and see how things hold up, 2-my son dropped the vacuum this afternoon and "broke" it.Son called down from upstairs "Dad, I dropped the vacuum and it is making a big noise". Sounded to me like the impeller bearing was broken; no suction, big noise.1. took it down to my shop, removed the battery2. noticed I could remove the inside motor compartment cover by removing 6 screws; removed the screws3. noticed I could split the motor compartment housing by removing 5 more screws; removed the screws4. when I split the motor compartment housing the battery latch release spring flew out; luckily it landed on the workbench5. unplugged the motor (two knife connectors) and removed the motor6. removed the shock pads on the motor; didn't find anything broken7. the impeller moves ok; hmmm, looks like dropping it just knocked something out of alignment8. reassembled the motor and the motor compartment; looks like all the components fit on one side of the motor compartment (mechanics love this sign of good engineering)9. inserted the battery and tested the motor...works like newI rarely make comments on my reviews but thought my being able to repair this item was a big plus and warranted the 5 star rating. Yes, I know I voided any warranty I might have had but I really had nothing to lose opening it up and seeing what I could do.

Vacuum is so easy to use and store. Battery can charge separate from unit which is great - I don't have space to hang it to charge.

It does what it is supposed to do. Would be nice if it had more suction and the battery life was longer. But for a cordless vacuum under $100 it does what it’s supposed to do. I use it only for touch ups and once a every other week pull out the large vacuum. If you have dogs don’t rely on picking up hair. Get a bigger stronger cordless vacuum.

This worked really well initially, then the power head stopped functioning. I contacted the company online. They asked me to perform a couple tasks to isolate the problem. It was the powerhead, which they promptly replaced.

Warranty honored! I contacted the seller who gave me my warranty info which I forwarded to [email protected] The service was quick, the process took a few weeks with us first receiving a new charger and then receiving a replacement battery which did the trick. The warranty is for 2 years from the date you receive it from Amazon. I’m please to have in back in service. I only gave 4 stars back, because I believe they did know there was a battery issue and it would have been nice if the issued a recall. I noted the email address for warranty or customer service. [email protected] 7/21: Originally we loved this unit, for quick pick-ups. but it stopped working after 5 months, Not worth the price we paid. We were very careful with in, hung it after every use, kept it clean and charged the battery when low. I don't recommend buying it now. will update again if they make good on the warranty.Perfect for my needs. Easy to assemble, easy to use and store whether you are hanging on the supplied hook or disassembling to store in a small space. Well thought out design. There is not enough information on the dust bin. It comes completely apart with TWO washable filter. I’ll wash mine after each use. Because the inside filter does it’s job and picks up the finest particles. It did such a good job, I couldn’t see the photo of a faucet (symbol for washing) under all the dust.I live on the beach (sand!) have laminate wood with low pile area rugs and it’s does pick up lots German Shepherd dog hair off a the low pike rug. Picks up flour off the floor. It excels on hardwood, tile and laminate floor. Great for stairs. The brush tools DO SNAP DIRECTLY to the power vac motor to make cleaning easier.Now I’ll talk about cat litter - perfect job picking up litter on hard floor and a low pile rug with both the power head or the tools.So many options with this unit. I paid $130. But a day later there was a coupon for an additional $18 off.My only suggestion is to be sure to hang it or lay it down when not in use so it doesn’t fall. It’s too heavy of course.If you are looking for deep cleaning a pile rug, this is not going to be your go to vacuum. It sure does a great job otherwise. I think you will be pleased not hauling a cord around makes keeping a clean house with a dog, cat, kids, and adults easy.Add it to your cart, I don’t think you will find better fir the price.
