*UPDATE JUNE 07,2025. Today I updated my factory Chevy Cobalt radio with a Pioneer MVH-S522BS receiver and these speakers are even more amazing! After tweaking EQ and crossover settings I'm in impressed with these speakers. The Pioneer receiver made these speakers sound even better!* It's been a week now since I replaced the rear deck 6x9s in my 2008 Chevy Cobalt with these Recoil Audio 6x9s and I'm extremely pleased with the sound quality and depth they have. Great speakers, great price, for a budget builds, I definitely recommend Recoil Audio! Update: Sept. 23, 2024. I have now had the 6.5 coaxials installed for over a month and I have to say as replacements for my factory speakers in my Cobalt I'm very impressed with these. I installed dynamat on my doors when putting in the 6.5's and even with no amplifier they hit pretty deep and sound really nice I'm very impressed with these speakers as factory replacements. Together with the 6x9's I'm very pleased with how my factory stereo sounds now.

Bought these for my 2024 frontier after having put kicker speakers in place of the factory ones. The kicker speakers were too high of wattage and sounded like crap. The recoils being a lower wattage (closer to factory) made a huge difference and sound great. Will be buying the 6.5” for the rear doors. Highly recommend

Installed in minutes. Excellent sound. Awesome price. 1 less star because did not come with wiring harness or ends to wire up (had to make my own)

My first pair i bought had manufacturing defect in one the tweeter but other one was fine so gave them a second shot and ordered again after returning them. I’m using a recoil amp sending 80 watts rms to each of them. Them sound really good and clean. Can’t say anything about the midbass as I’m using high pass filter on them alongwith nice sets of 2 12 subwoofer. But the treble and midrange is great on these. Not sure how they’ll perform without amp as i never used without one. Did i forgot to mention there amazing build quality and metal basket. Will definitely recommend if using with amp.
