Every year my husband and I get a new Christmas ornament for our tree. This is by far the most exquisite one.

The media could not be loaded.  Lenox does come up with some beautiful things (some cheesy, but this isn't one of them). The angel boasts a nice 6" vertical height and the frosted gown swirls throughout and you can see the word "Friends" right on the front,. making it a great gift for the hard to shop angel aficionado in your life.The butterfly, halo and hanging string are gold and there are little reflective pieces at the base of the dress promising a nice bit of light reflecting from it. Lenox suggest registering your angel in order to qualify for the breakage promise that says this: Lenox Breakage Replacement is one of the best customer satisfaction plans anywhere. So don’t worry, you're covered." the fine print goes on to read, "Lenox will offer a replacement, provided one is available, at one-half its suggested retail price at time of replacement, plus shipping and processing charges and applicable tax. If an item is defective, Lenox will replace the item at no cost to you."In other words, You pay for it at half of the suggested retail which as of this writing is already double the selling price! LOL Oh well, it sounds good but don't buy this piece for the promise, buy it because it's well made and beautiful.

This slender angel will look brilliant with a light nearby on your friend’s tree; however, in the light of day, I found it not quite the outstanding product I’ve come to expect from Lenox. Most of the piece looks delicate as a glass angel should but the wings look a little plastic (though made from glass). The rhinestone type edging on the bottom doesn’t strike me as classy as I expected.That said, it could still look beautiful on the tree as it has that ethereal, heavenly appearance with a dash of sparkle. The gold trim is quality and nice. The butterfly adds a special touch.
