Q: Does it go off by itself after any amount of time?

Yes, as with most alarm clocks if the tone or in this case the vibration pad is not dismissed it will shut off, I’m just not sure on the length of time it runs before shutting off. I’m not hard of hearing, unless I’m asleep lol, I can have the loudest alarm next to me and I won’t hear it. With these alarm clocks they not only wake me up, but it saves me getting nagged at by the neighbours.
