Excellent quality, stylish and large
Absolutely love this shower cap! Worth every penny of the price. Excellent quality because: it's well made; hard wearing; the cloth lining stops my hair going frizzy; the pattern is great because it has texture that actually looks like animal skin; the colours are vibrant but still subtle; colour coordinates with my bathroom; its large enough for my big hair.Only slight criticism is that it could be just a tiny bit larger but it does cover my hair.Highly recommended!

Great Shower Cap
This Shower cup is big, comfortable, lovely design, and the material is comfortable and feels expensive. I've had it for 5 months now and really love it.It was shipped from USA and took a while to get to my house, but well worth the wait. Highly recommend it!

I love this shower cap - I have a larger than average head and very thick, long hair. This fits comfortably and easily covers all my hair however I'm wearing it. It's got plenty of stretch in it, so would be suitable for most adults - a bonus to the size and stretch is that I don't get a red line across my forehead, which I thought all shower caps caused! The lining feels nice, and definitely reduces the condensation my old shower cap used to cause.

READ THIS IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON USING THIS BETTY DAIN SHOWER HAT FOR HAIR TREATMENTS
As one of the more 'fashionable' (are shower hats ever really fashionable?!) shower hats on Amazon, this is also one of the most expensive, at just over £10 depending on retailer. The question is: Is this item really as valuable as its high value price tag? In my recent experience of it, yes, it is, depending on how you wish to use it.As a lady with long (bust length) highlighted, fairly dry hair, I frequently massage either coconut oil or olive oil into my hair, and leave it to sit for 1 - 3 hours (occasionally longer / overnight) before washing it out with shampoo, followed by conditioner. These two oils are so far the only two oils which have been scientifically proven to penetrate into the cortex of your hair strands. Using coconut oil BEFORE washing helps improve the condition of your hair because it prevents too much water from entering your cortex, thus reducing damage from swelling and HYGRAL FATIGUE. The extra oil on the surface of the hair also seems to prevent the shampoo from completely stripping, and overly drying, the hair. Thus, you are left with a more shiny, healthy looking barnet (in my experience, anyway!).Up until now, I had always asked my partner to lovingly wrap my head in clingfilm (how glamorous!) whilst performing these oil treatments, both to prevent the oil dripping onto things, and to aid in the absorption of the oil into the hair, since the heat from this kind of insulating turban speeds things up. Whilst the plastic wrap method is both cheap and effective, it is also rather wasteful, as well as not being the most alluring! Further, cling film when used in this way will often rise up and distort in shape, before falling off your head completely, requiring replacement. What a faff!POSITIVESThis shower cap is much MUCH better than either plastic wrap or cheapo caps!1. It accommodates all of my hair2. The elastic band which secures the cap around my head is snug enough to not allow any of my hair to escape, nor the hat to fall off3. The inner fabric is comfortable3. It looks nice. For a shower cap, anyway.NEGATIVES1. The elastic is so tight that it hurts slightly, and leaves a red mark where it has been hugging your head2. I didn't read the product description carefully enough, and so I wasn't anticipating that the inside of the shower cap would be a thick towelling-type material. Whilst the toweling no-doubt aids in comfort, and would probably be ideal for somebody who plans to use this shower cap as intended (purely as a means of keeping their hair dry whilst in the shower), for people who want to use the cap for hair treatments, the toweling presents a problem. Your hair goop will make the toweling soggy with product, and fairly gross, meaning that you'll need to wash the cap thoroughly after each use.To get around this, you can do what I've done, and turn the shower cap inside out so that only the plastic waterproof side will be in contact with your hair treatments. The obvious downside to that is that the nice leopard print outer will then be hidden, turning your fairly chic cap into something that now resembles a fluffy, canary-yellow mushroom.Ho hum. The pains of vanity! ;-)

At last a shower cap that actually covers all my hair and without flattening it down. This is a lovely product and worth paying that bit more than I would normally pay for the usual chain store shower caps. This one has a lovely terry lining and is beautifully made. Initially it had a faintly unpleasant smell which I took to be the plastic but thankfully that has worn off with use.

Great quality - our daughter loves it
Yes it's on the large size but then it's deisgned for people with long hair to keep dry in the shower.Works great, dries well and keeps our daughter's long hair dry.If only it were available in other designs... not everyone wants to look like Bet Lynch ;-)

Smelly shower cap
This is a good shower cap but it really does smell bad. The only comparable smell I can think of is dead rotted frogspawn. I put it in the washing machine for a couple of cycles then hung it outdoors for a fortnight or so, which helped a little, then held my breath and used it anyway. The size and construction is good, I seem to have a big head as no other caps fit as well.

No more wet hair
Expensive but the only shower cap that actually worked. No more wet hair at the back. However it is extremely tight and would leave a deep mark which wouldn't go away for ages.To avoid it I put the head band first and place shower cap on top, problem solved.Wish there were more safisticated colours available so I wouldn't have to hide it from sight.
