I’m an experienced powerlifter that now works out strictly at home. I’ve used every major brands SSB: Rogue V1 and V2, Titan, Rep, EliteFTS SS Yoke, Valor, Bells of Steel and other variations like the Marrs bar and Kabuki transformer bar. This is by far the best value, I couldn’t be more happy. 1) The packaging was great. Maybe they improved it since the other reviews? I’m not sure. But it was packaged with foam and tape inside the cardboard so the bar didn’t move. The handles were included and even had cut outs in the foam for them. 2) the bar specs are exactly as reported. I stepped on a scale with this and it weighs exactly 60lbs. Right on par with the Titan/EliteFTS SS Yoke. 3) The handles are solid. Heavier than I thought they would be. They screw on nicely. I like they are removable so I can use this bar for JM presses. 4) Bar is balanced. They added some light grease to the ends to prevent damage during shipping. There was zero rust. 5) Pad is stout and balanced. If you have used the Rogue/Rep/Valor SSB, this pad is thicker. It’s the same set up as the EliteFTS/Titan/Bells of Steel bar. This is all personal preference but I prefer this style vs the Rep/Rogue/Valor style. All in all, this is by far the best addition I have made to my home gym. And by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to specialty bar. Look up some YouTube videos on SSB variations, there’s so many movement possibilities. It comes in $80-100 less than the cheapest big name brands. Titan sits around $300 and Rep comes in at $330. Do it, you won’t regret it.

This is a fantastic bar at a great price. I remember having to search high and low to find specialty bars for under $400 so to get this at just under $250 is absolutely amazing. I have the original Crepensik SSB and I would say after using this I prefer this one. Now, I cannot say if this will last as long but I think it will.

I've been using this bar now for a few weeks and i am pleasantly impressed by the quality and sturdiness. This feels just as good if not superior to what you'd find at commercial gyms.

i finally received my bar...but the 2 handles are missing...help

Seems good, like other reviews, it was packed poorly, and no handles to grab. Don't know if they didn't pack them or fell out during transit ?? I'm not going through the hassle of returning, for under 200 bucks, im just going to makes some diy handles. Pad is good, and so are the angles though.

Bar was great, but came with rust on one end. I did not pay for rust, especially for how much it cost. Would have given this bar 5 stars had it not came with rust on it. I seen other comments with this issue. Hopefully this supplier fixes this issue.

So far so good. The unpacking process was easy. It was well packaged and shipped. Box is heavy duty. Easy assembly. Comfortable padding. I’ll do legs and report back. But it looks like a well made product. Heavy duty and built to last. Stay tuned for updates.
