Great for miso soup!
The sea weed in miso soup has always been my favorite. Now I can have as much as I want! Very tasty. It’s better to put the dry sea weed while the water is still boiling so it has more time to “grow”. In case you don’t know, it’s best to add in miso as the last step. When the water temperature is below boiling point so it can persevere the taste of miso.

great for soups, expands massively
When you first use this seaweed: take the amount you THINK you need in your hand, and cut it in half, and cut it in half again. It expands to way more than you think it's going to. I like this stuff so much, I also nibble on it dry -- but take caution if you have the munchies, because the aforementioned properties of expansion also apply to expansion within your stomach, and that can get uncomfortable. Haha... it's good, it really is.

much better than lettuce in a salad!
I add water to it and in about 10 minutes or less it's ready. sheets of seaweed perfect for a salad. I just squeeze the water out with my fist and add it to chopped vegetables and then add my dressing. It's better for you and I don't have to eat large mouthfuls of lettuce.

Delicious and Versatile Seaweed with an Authentic Flavor
The taste and texture were simply delightful. This seaweed offers a unique flavor profile that is both tasty and satisfying, although it may be slightly saltier than my personal preference when eaten on its own. However, its versatility makes up for it.I found numerous ways to incorporate this seaweed into my meals. It works wonderfully as an ingredient in salads, adding a touch of umami and a pleasant chewy texture. Additionally, it complements soups exceptionally well, especially when used in making tofu soup or ramen broth. The seaweed rehydrates beautifully, expanding substantially in size, making it perfect for meal preps. Despite the small package, it goes a long way, ensuring that you can enjoy its benefits in multiple dishes. One aspect that impressed me was the quality of the seaweed. It arrived fresh and in a sturdy resealable bag, which added to its convenience. Although the package lacked instructions, rehydrating the seaweed was a breeze. Just a simple addition of water or directly placing it in the soup was enough to witness its transformation – a quick growth in size and a change in color.

Kinda bland
So I’m not sure if I maybe bought the wrong type of seaweed but it taste off compared to others I’ve had n when u add it to soup or liquid usually the heat will get it opened up but no a lot of this stays clumped up like it doesn’t want to absorb anymore liquid. Not the worst seaweed but I wouldn’t buy again
