This file is crystal apart from what some reviewers are saying. It's a fine glass file with a specific use. It's not like an emery board which will take lots off but leaves smooth nails. Some reviews say it blunts quickly which is not true. The file needs to be washed with soap and water regularly so as to remove the nail residue that is blocking the file. That's why some people think it blunts quickly. I would recommend this every time.

Comes beautifuly presented in a box that contains the nail file in a case, information / guidance and a cloth (although I'm not sure what this is for, there's no information on this).What's let this product down is the carry case is all scratched in places and upon opening it and taking out the nail file, I could see some marks on the front and side of the nail file and big scratch on the back.As this is supposed to be a brand new item, I'd expect it to be in prestine condition, so it was disappointing to find it wasnt.Regarding the performance of the nail file, I'm not that impressed. I've had a Swarovski nail file before and it was fantastic, this nowhere near meets the same quality so I expect it's not a genuine crystal product. The surface appears dull and doesn't file the nails down with half as much ease and I wouldn't say it leaves clean edges either.I was hoping that I'd find another great nail file to pop in my bag when I travel but I can't say that this fits the bill.
