If I can do it, anyone can!
Super easy to install if you just follow the easy instructions carefully. & even if you mess that up (like I did,) it's not hard to fix. Just be sure to mark everything first and make sure there's enough room for the inner parts on the inside of the container before you drill. In other words, the holes can't be too close together. I drilled the first hole, put the piece in to see how much room it takes inside, & make sure you have the piece going in the right direction. The system is pretty idiot proof, works great & unless your hens really try hard, there is little to no mess or loss of food.

Doesn't eleminate wasted grain, but helps.
As you can see from my pictures, I installed these on the bottom of a large metal trash can with lid. In doing so I was hoping to eliminate grain waste, and also reduce the frequency of refilling their food bin. The drill bit included was great and cut all 6 holes fast & clean. I keep the can under a roofed area, if I were to bring it outside more I'd have to use some silicon caulking around the holes as the can's metal ribs are not conducive to a good water-tight rainproof seal, even with the included O-rings.I put the can on a base that holds the hole openings 7~8 inches off the ground. It works well; I can empty 2 bags of grain and not need to refill it for a couple weeks! Way better capacity than before which was only ~ 3/4 of a bag.BUT -- My chickens are horribly obsessed with scooping out grain with their beaks flinging it to the ground. I'd say only about a 10th gets pecked back up by them that they do this with, and so they waste probably 2 cups a day between the 14 of them. Horrible waste, I told them that there's starving chickens in Africa, but they didn't care. Spoiled rotten this lot is... Previously I had a hanging metal bucket thing from a supply store that hung about 6" off the ground. They waste about the same using either type of feeder. So, not in the pictures is what I have done to mitigate waste. I wrapped duct tape around the can covering up the bottom third of the holes. They can still eat from it, but the additional tape wall edge prevents a good 95% of the waste. I'm going to try cutting the included white plastic plugs to use for this purpose when the tape fails... I have regular sized laying chickens, and they definitely only need about 2/3 of the size of opening.

Works well
We put this together on a 5 gallon bucket but our 18 chickens will "eat" a qhole 5 gallons worth of food in a day and scratch it all over the place still. To keep them from going through food too fast, we don't fill it up all the way

Works wonders
Love this. Put it in 5 gallon buckets don’t have to worry about filling for weeks now! Also helps from them wasting so much feed.

Great idea for outdoor feeders..
The ad shows these being used on square tubs or round buckets. They will work best on square, flat surfaces, but then I knew that when I ordered. That is fine, I really wanted them for buckets. I put 3 stations on each bucket. And so they will seal properly on the curved surface I added a bead of silicon caulk around the edges. I already had bucket lids that screw on onto the buckets to make them easy to fill. I will be attaching a cord to the stoppers so they won't wander off.. over all these are a great idea.. I'm in process of renovating my chicken coop and was working on a way to do a better, weather resistant outdoor feeder system. Really good price for this set and the hole saw cuts through the bucket like soft butter.A Quick update. I made two feeders with this set, 3 ports per bucket. I set them out yesterday afternoon sitting on a Cinder Block.. Less than an hour later one hen was checking them out. And she checked all 6 ports... I was concerned with my older girls finding and accepting a new feeder source that they were not used to.. They accepted it faster than I expected.
