Excellent design
I chose this because, after checking well over a hundred teapots on Amazon, it doesn't have the design flaws which most teaposts suffer from. Here is a list of the points:Does it pour without spilling?YES, it pours perfectly. It is actually impossible to get it to spill while pouring. Can you replace the lid after removing the infuser?YES (many teapots don't allow this - a ridiculous design flaw)Is the tea untainted?YES, glass is ideal for flavourDoes the infuser work well?YES, it lets the water through quickly enough (unlike Boden infusers) but is fine enough to capture even small bits of tea leaves. Is the infuser easy to clean?YES, its firm structure is much easier to clean than the springy gauze onesIs it large enough?YES, 1.2 litres is a very good size.Is it strong enough?NOT SURE, it feels fragile but is made of borosilicate glass, which shouldn't crackIs the lid cool to lift?YESDoes the infuser have a handle?YES, you can lift it without your fingers getting hot.Can you put it in the dishwasher?NOT SURE, I wouldn't risk it. It is easy enough to clean by hand.

Cute little pot, works as expected
This is a convenient little teapot! I use it to steep coffee (it makes 2 cups) so that I can take my time drinking in the morning, and then simply re-warm the pot over the hob when it goes cold. All the pieces come apart so it's easy to clean, and you can also use the pot either with or without the filter. Knocked off one star because you HAVE to hold the lid on when pouring, or it will fall right out (and that makes a mess!). So I wish that lid were more snug, but overall very happy, it works for what I needed so I'm happy with it.

Nice mid-size Teapot
Excellent design and easy to use. Glass feels thin but looks quite durable. The steel seems to be of good quality and easy to clean - only time will tell. The spout is extremely good and does not drip at all, very easy to pour, so good that we have semi-retired our Chinese teapot. Strainer goes down deep enough to infuse a single cup.Haven't used it on an open fire and don't intend to - so can't comment on heat resistance.Overall, very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

Product quality issue didn't last 9 months
This would have been 4-5 stars if only the product would have lasted a decent lifetime. Unfortunately, quality control on the spot welds needs to be looked at as the lid has come away from the hinge on the stainless steel frame. This item always been treated with respect and never placed in a dishwasher. Rather disappointing from a product that converted our tea drinking from teabags to loose tea, an environmentally preferrable option. Not environmentally friendly if faulty workmanship requires a replacement.Just seen this product has quite a few reviews commenting on the poor spot weld so obviously the manufacturer has not seen fit to change quality control practices to resolve the issue. Cannot even get this replaced so hopefully the supplier can get in contact for a refund? Sadly, UK warranty laws don't apply here it seems and this will be an additional factor in future purchases. What a shame!

Simply perfect...
I was looking for an easy to use, easy to clean and decent sized infuser tea pot for loose tea. When it arrived I thought it was smaller than stated and that the infuser was also a bit on the small side as well.I needn't have worried. It holds 1.5 litres and the infuser works well, with no bits escaping.Holds temperature and pours without any issues. As an avid tea drinker I'm very happy with this purchase...

Light and strong - but for 18 months only!
Great 4 cup/3 mug teapot. Easy to use, and great to see how the tea is brewing. After brewing, the leaf holder will sit securely at an angle in the lid surround allowing it to drain before removal. It was also both light and robust. However, after 18 months, I noticed that where the lid extension rests just above the handle when the lid is open, a tiny 1mm high by the width of that extension hole had opened, plus a split was starting to run off to one side round the top of the handle. Can't help visualising what might have happened when lifting a full pot of hot tea had I not noticed.Goodbye glass teapot, back to ceramic for its replacement.
