Great addition to my AS6706T!
Bought the AS6706T as a replacement for my AS6604T.I know it's not a huge upgrade, but it had some improvements that I found very helpful. Faster CPU, faster DDR4 ram speeds, and the addition of either 4 nvme ssds or this combo card (Asustor AS-T10G3).Now to get the full bandwidth possible I have an ASUS ROG AXE16000 with 2x 10G ports and I transfer from my gaming setup (z790/13700k) which did have a built-in 2.5G port now upgraded to an Intel X550-T2 10G card.I am getting around 600MB/s transfer speeds from my PC to my NAS. Previously with both running off the 2.5G ports only about 200MB/s. So, it has definitely sped up my transfer speeds.BUT.......The best thing about this card is it finally fixed a huge issue I was having with my NAS. I mainly use it as a PLEX server for Movies and TV, and with the advent of 4k Movies, transferring huge files was happening very frequently. I had this issue with my previous NAS as well as my new one where transfers would stop midway through and my NAS would no longer be accessible. Now the easy fix was to unplug my 10G ethernet cables from the router and swap ports and plug them back in. Then the NAS would be recognizable again and I could restart the transfer. Problem is this could sometimes happen 2/3 times with just one big file. This 10G card has eliminated that issue!!!!Now transfers are faster and do not die midway through!!! That alone is worth the price of this card in my opinion, even though admittedly it shouldn't have been an issue to begin with. Using 2x WD SN700 2TB NVME for read/write cache is overkill but I already had them so why not.

Expensive for what it is.....
Not reaching the 10gbe speeds. And honestly its quite overpriced.

NVMs and 10gbe Ethernet
It's a good option to add 10gbe without losing NVM SSDs to my Asustor. For now, it helps with read and writing speeds, but as long as your local disks can keep up

Full 10gbe throughput for reads and writes to the NVMe SSds
Extremely fast upgrade for Asustor NAS. Testing with Raid 1 (mirror) NVMe SSDs allowed for full 10gbe throughput for both reads and writes.

installing took a little work but worth it
You have to remove several parts to install inside of cabinet but once I got the covers removed and installed the card worked without any issues. Did have to setup my SSD drives again as cache drives.
