We love these books - this is the second one we’ve had like this. The first got in the way of a mess and we couldn’t save it because there was no way of washing it.

Favorite musical toy for babies and toddlers

This book is lovely for a new born and up. The music is so lovely. Soft and vibrant colors.

This is a relatively expensive soft book for a toddler . I bought one previously that , despite changing batteries and having an engineer check the wires - still does not play the sounds . Hopefully this second one will work for more then a year .

Great for babies!

My son loved this book so much that when it stopped working after a few months we bought another, thinking it was a fluke. Now a few months after that, our second one has stopped working!

As a musician, I like that the sounds of the instruments aren’t super fakey, and that, for the most past, each instrument plays something suited for itself. (Mozart’s Rondo alla Turca for piano, Vivaldi’ Spring for violin, solo Bach suite for cello...). The book is soft, with bright colors and other than the egregious position the cat has while playing the violin, those are pretty good overall, too. In addition to all this, the first copy they sent had a faulty sensor on the violin page and they let me ship it back for free for a replacement that came in the next day! Can’t complain about that! Very pleased with my purchase!!!! (And my 18 month old loves it!)

This product would have received five stars if it were not for one of one the instruments (the saxophone) having stopped working within a couple of months of purchase. That is not satisfactory for an item that costs as much as this one. Otherwise, my grandson loves it, but we have to talk about the saxophone being "broken" every time we look at it. Also, this is the second time I have purchased this book. The first one lasted well with my granddaughter, but when the batteries gave out, I was unable to get it to work again with replacements. I don't know how to contact the manufacturer and would not purchase again at this point.
