I’ve been using these bags for a couple of years now. Fit perfectly in the IKEA composting bin and are strong enough to pick up and drop straight into my green bin. Perfect.

10 Litre Paper Compostable Kitchen Waste Bags.
Excellent for all kitchen food waste. The bags remain strong even with moist food remains. Accepted by our local council refuse department in the compost bin too. Recommended.

Local authority acceptable
They are recommended for use by local authority and the 10litre size fits into our bin perfectly, have to be careful however when disposing of damp.items ( vegetables, salad etc.), that they do not stay in bags for too long as they could weaken the bag bottom.

Good product
Our council no longer takes cellulose bags in the green recycling bins. My worktop peely bin is small so I just tip the contents in to a bag when it's full. Keeps the big wheelie bin clean.

Compostable bags
Exactly what I was looking for. So much better than the so called compostable ones I have previously been able to buy in the supermarket (made of some sort of corn starch or similar) which to date have not rotted down in my own compost heap much to my husband's annoyance.Service super and extremely efficient arriving very promptly after my order was placed. Will be ordering more of these in the future.
