There is a bit more building to this than first thought! For the most part, assembly is fairly easy and straight forward. You will NEED a HAMMER and hammering the knobs on to the wheel rods takes a few sturdy hammer falls (small feeble female). Hammering the key/ignition into place should be done first, not last as there is not enough space to shove a swinging hammer onto the tool in order to bash the key/ignition cylinder through the pre cut smaller diameter hole without injury! Take note of the screw sizes supplied, BIN them and REPLACE. The screws supplied are as soft as tinfoil, using hand screwdriver will result is the head being obliterated before its half way, using a powered screwdriver results in the same and don't even think about trying to hammer the last half home. I suggest pre drilling a hole where the screws are to go. Once assembled kids will love it! There is a plate for the bottom to make it young toddler friendly, this is Very Fiddly to fit however once in place you can push the car along without worrying that your little one will might scuff a toe or fall through the leg opening. This dino-tike was purchased for a 15 month child who loves climbing in and out, pretending to drive and being pushed along on a journey through the house. It is also loved by a 3 and 5 year old. Do note - size wise, average 4 year olds are beginning to find space a bit cramped but I fully recommend for young toddlers who are on their feet (and climbing)

Our son 1.7 year old loves his Little Tikes dino coupe! He finds it very easy to use, getting in/out, closing the door, turning the key and beeping the horn. Although he hasn’t quite worked out how to move it properly while he’s in it himself yet but he loves to push it around or be pushed in it with the base in to prevent his feet getting trapped. Perfect for playing indoors or outdoors, can see this being a favourite for many years to come. It was a bit of a pain to put together, so patience is required. I would however recommend purchasing a cover or putting under shelter if you plan to leave it outside, as I have noticed that the decals colour has begun to fade after just a few months of sunshine.

The car provides my son with lots of fun, the product is very sturdy and great for my son, I would say it is worth it’s value for money, the door has a safety latch and a floor for the younger children. The wheels and sturdy and provides easy movement, the car is made out of plastic so I would say the comfort isn’t brilliant, however the car is brilliant after the assembly. Assembling the car was a bit tedious but I got there eventually, you might require tools that are not provided

I’m going with 5* as now the car is fully made, I’m happy. But I’m also going with 1* for assembly. It’s a nightmare! Forget two hours assembly, it took us 6 hours and a lot of frustration. Some reviewers have said to check out videos, but we found following the paper instructions step by step easier. Now we have done one, I’m sure any future Little Tykes would be a doddle 🤞. One of the problems was that the key and indicator holding cap didn’t fit and we had to contact Little Tykes directly to get a replacement sent, very frustrating and of course we started assembly on a Friday and Little Tykes don’t work Saturdays (course they don’t), so we had to wait an extra two days to get the parts. But having said all of that, we love the dinosaur car and I’m sure our grandson will too on his birthday.

As has been said in earlier reviews the assembly is not a five minute job. It needs to be undertaken by one familiar with DIY tools. The requirement for a drill is only to make pilot holes for self tapping screws and I understand that due to the imprecise nature of the build it would be impossible for the manufacturer to accurately pre-drill them. I think a bradawl could substitute for the drill. It was given as a Christmas gift to out 22 month old grandson who loved it. He is too young to propel it himself like Fred Flinstone so we put the optional floor panel in and pushed him around all Christmas. Great toy.

I bought this during the Prime Day sales for my sons first birthday! It's a great little car. A little tricky to put together without a second person, but plenty of tutorial on YouTube!

Acheté début octobre (64 euros) et reçu en moins d une semaine. Je suis une femme pas super bricoleuse et en 1h seul avec mon tournevis gifi j'ai réussi à le monter ! 😀 C'est un achat impulsif 😅 pour mon fils de 14mois et ma fille de 5ans et franchement je ne regrette pas ma folie ! Le véhicule est top... Mon fils de 14mois l adore et il arrive à avancer que en marche arrière... Pour la marche avant la grande sœur pousse... Et m fille elle kif ! On fait du drift dans la maison à fond la caisse et il est bien costaud ! Avec ses 21kilos le plastique ne bouge pas d'un pète... C'est du costaud sincèrement !! Puis c'est beaucoup moins large qu'un trotteur ça passe partout dans la maison 😊 ! J'ai hésité à en acheté un deuxième mais étant passé à 80euros ça devient trop chère !!
