Good phone if you are looking for a fixed phone option at home. Landline is almost not available/un-reliable now and other fixed phones options like CDMA phones also no longer exists. This provides a good use case for such scenarios. Did not check the battery life as I started using it only for a day and most of the time the phone is connected to the wall charger. Pros: - The overall phone felt of good quality for the cost. Material used was good. - Almost all buttons also were functioning in a good manner. except for the up arrow (volume) button - Sound Quality is very good for phone's speaker. Both the voice during calls and also during music. - We can play music using the inbuild music player - mp3 files through SD card, and also FM. FM reception is fairly good, not exceptional. - Used both Jio and BSNL SIMs. Reception worked well in both. Jio worked well through VOLTE and voice also was clear. Cons: - Would have preferred usb c instead of micro-usb as most chargers now are usb-c. Small suggestion - not actually an issue as the adaptor is supplied. - Would have preferred nano-SIM or micro-SIM. Full size SIM option now a days is not good as even new SIMs come with pre-cut done for micro/nano. It is easier and safer to use than Full size SIM to prevent damage. - WiFi hotspot is not there. This would have been a good addition for the price. Description is clear and hence I was aware of the same while purchasing. The option available with color screen and hotspot was much costlier and I did not want color screen anyway. All mobile plans now is tagged with data. We could have used it as a backup data just in case a need arises.

Update: Jan 2022 Phone keeps showing Network problem error but when I tried the same SIM on a normal mobile, there is no network issue. Seems to be some internal disconnection from the antenna that is causing the error. Anyway, this device worked well since Aug 2020 till now. Im ordering another one as its a good mobile device for sr citizens who cant handle smartphones. I ordered this SIM enabled conventional phone type instrument for my in laws who are 90+ and unable to use a conventional / Android mobile phone. The SIM type is the standard large. We used their existing Dolphin SIM, there is also space for another SIM as it is dual SIM. The instrument is exactly like a conventional landline telephone so my in laws are very comfortable using it like a landline instrument. The sound quality is much better than a mobile for both listening and speaking. Speaker mode is loud and clear. SMS messages are also visible though that takes a bit of learning for very senior citizens / disabled but it isnt difficult and their helpers can assist. This is the best product and of most use to my 90+ in laws who were really struggling with the various mobile phone instruments we had given them earlier including so called senior friendly mobile instruments which they found difficult to use. Dont think twice if there are such people in your family, they will really thank you for this SIM enabled mobile which looks and can be used just like a conventional landline instrument except it can be carried everywhere. Remember to charge frequently. Comes with plug in charger and battery pack. Very reasonable price for the product and the easy to use facility that it gives super senior / disabled people who are unable to use conventional mobile phones. I cannot emphasise enough how useful and good this product is for such people.

I purchased the Beetel F2K GSM Fixed Wireless Phone in November 2023, and my experience has been quite disappointing. 1. **Ringtone Volume:** From the very beginning, the phone had no volume for the ringtone. This made it challenging to know when calls were coming in. 2. **Battery Issues:** The battery charge doesn't hold well. Initially, I thought it might improve after a few charging cycles, but it didn't. The phone consistently needs to be plugged in to stay on, which defeats the purpose of having a wireless phone. 3. **Signal Strength:** The signal strength is low, making it hard to have clear conversations. This is a critical issue for a phone, and it was frustrating to experience such poor performance. 4. **Ear Piece Sound:** The ear piece sound is low, making it difficult to hear the other party clearly during calls. 5. **Not Switching On:** As of today, the phone refuses to switch on unless it is plugged into the charger. This essentially makes it unusable as a wireless phone. Given that the phone is still within its one-year warranty period, I expected a solution or replacement. However, Amazon did not provide clear instructions on how to claim the warranty. This adds to my frustration with the product and the overall service. Overall, I cannot recommend the Beetel F2K GSM Fixed Wireless Phone based on my experience. I hope to resolve the warranty issue soon and get a replacement or refund

I was looking for sim based Landline phone for my mother, since my MTNL phone since last 6 months and My mom is bedridden and not comfortable using a mobile phone... i found this product on Amazon during a random search....Its been 2 weeks now since the phone was delivered... Firstly my appreciation for the smooth and timely delivery by Amazon...Coming to the phone, everything looks good and it is user friendly... The Sim card insertion was a bit problematic at the beginning, as it was not detecting the sim, but it finally detected the sim after a few tries...The call quality is quite good... With average use, Battery life is more than 10 days , once fully charged ( it dropped one bar on the battery indicator after 7 days, in my case) .. it also has FM radio and mp3 song player through USB drive ...I would strongly recommend this phone for senior citizens..
