Fantastic book, Just wish you could still buy it.
I bought this book when i suddenly started have dizzy spells, i felt like i was constantly walking around on a bouncy castle and the only time i had experienced anything like it was years earlier when i had Labrythitis. On reading the book, i immediatley reconised myself in it. I started to do a couple of the exercises that Marian reccomends in the book and quickly found a small amount of relief over a short time. Since reading it i have been through vestibular rehabilitation in the hospital, which was basically doing similar exercises that Marian recomends in her book. I can honestly say this book saved my sanity. My mother in law recently started going throuh a similar thing and i lent her my book. She also found almost immediate relief on reading it. I just wish that the book was still available to buy, then i would be able to buy her her own copy and get mine back!

New Hope for Acute Dizzy Sufferers
I bought this book because my partner has been suffering from acute balance problems for some months and after various tests and consultations with specialists, we felt we were getting nowhere. Marian Groome was a sufferer herself and we have found her book both reassuring and practical. It has given us new hope and her suggested approach to treatment has inspired us to push for a a re-referral with the specialists and an appointment is now imminent.

Informative and reassuring
I've suffered vestibular migraine (diagnosed) for 6 months. This book has given me hope and reassurance and reminded me that vestibular rehabilitation exercises are obligatory to recovery. Additionally it's made me understand why I am also suffering with anxiety and panic attacks and that all these symptoms are real. I'd recommend this book to anyone suffering with a balance disorder.

Sheds light on a disorder that many "professionals" appear ignorant of.
This lady has walked the walk and can talk the talk.Any book that can highlight this debilitating and not very well publicised disorder, can only be a good thing. It is a very misunderstood condition and this book sheds light on the frustrations that one can so often feel.

Excellent!
A really insightful and we'll researched book from an author who has been through this obscure and notoriously hard to diagnose disease. Highly recommend for anyone suffering from labyrinthitus. You'll be glad you read it.
